Kind of a weak episode. Probably my least favorite of this season so far, which is too bad since I wish they'd do more with Mac, however most of his episodes tend to be unmemorable.

I actually loved the episode. Country Mac was totally badass and a nice one episode edition to the group. Mac's constant denial of everything was, as per usual, hilarious. Probably my 2nd favourite episode of the series so far. Aside from episode one this has actually been a pretty awesome series thus far.

I like to save them up and watch them in pairs, because 20 minutes of Sunny feels like such a tease. I thought the last 2 episodes were fantastic. The pyramid scheme with The Maniac behind it all was great, a classic Sunny episode which would have felt at home in the earlier seasons. It seemed obvious that Frank was screwing with them but then they pointed it out and did the swerve, and I marked out. And Mac Day was really fun, showing Country Mac who is at complete peace with himself and much cooler as a result was an interesting way of shiniing a light on all of City Mac's "negative" qualities he's in denial about. I loved that the gang all agreed that Mac is gay too. The show still has juice, makes me happy.

I've just rewatched Mac Day with my sister because she wasn't around when I first watched it and I loved it even more this time round. I might be in the minority because nobody seems to be particularly loving this episode but I think it might actually be my favourite episode of the series so far. Great stuff, glad the show is doing better than last season.

I loved Country Mac just falling over dead. I think Frank implied that Country Mac fell over and hit his head on the pavement, and that's how he died.

So Mac is homophobic, yet possibly gay... kinda checks out. I saw the "Gang gets taken hostage" episode on Comedy Central earlier. In the beginning Dennis threatens to give Charlie a wedgie so bad it rips his asshole in half. Enter Mac. Charlie asks "Mac can an asshole rip in half?" Mac responds, without missing a beat and with full confidence "like tissue paper". I'd seen that line plenty of times, but after this week's ep it really cracked me up. I think he's been gay from the start, and it's slowly unraveled as the series goes on. Love the writing for this show.

Great stuff, glad the show is doing better than last season. By your favorite of the series so far, do you mean it's your favorite episode of Always Sunny ever, or using series/season interchangeably? Just wondering, that's really high praise. I really liked it, so not disagreeing by any means. My personal favorite is "The Gang Finds a Dumpster Baby", really funny and had a little more weight than a lot of the episodes. The Riders On The Storm montage is a big reason why I like it so much.

The Riders On The Storm montage is a big reason why I like it so much. I was using series/season interchangeably because in the UK we call a season a series. And when it comes to the end it's just the final episode rather than the series finale. But watching US TV and talking on here etc. I use season as well. Sorry for the confusion. It's by far the best of this ongoing season (Season 9). It's not the best ever though. It's hard to pick a favourite ever Sunny episode, there has been so many. The D.E.N.N.I.S System is one of my favourite's but there are so many others too, it's hard to pick just one.

Loved last night's episode. Aside from Frank's dream sequence all of them were superb. I can't pick which one was best, Sweet Dee's was probably the weakest of the four but her's was still great. And the actual ending suited the gang perfectly. Great way to reach 100 episodes. Aside from a fairly weak first episode I'm really loving this season, could be one of their best ever if they continue on like this.

And Mac banging the tranny kind of lends to him being gay.

Mac is gay, as evidenced by his fantasy featuring a shirtless Rex
