I've been looking for this since I read about it in the Random Stuff from Old Observers thread. Awesome find.
People forget, Goldust was actually a marquee player in 1996 and early 1997. Watch Rocky Maivia vs HHH at Final Four and listen to the reaction he gets when he walks out during the match.

I saw every episode of Conan's first 4-5 years, and I completely forgot about this until I saw that, now it's bringing back memories. I was strictly WCW 4 Life at the time, so this was my first time actually seeing him. All my friends were WWF so I knew of him. Didn't actually watch the interview portion though.

Man, Dustin played this role to PERFECTION.
Also, I didn't realize it at the time, but damn this gimmick was probably the most edgy thing ever in WWF, especially Dust's BDSM period
