Yeah, I'm not getting the anti-Alicia stuff here. Other than the 'undefined champion', she's always seemed capable, particularly considering that she managed to fool even the most jaded of smarks into thinking her finisher was dangerous when nobody's ever been remotely hurt by it.
Natalya should be more sympathetic to AJ's side, honestly, given the whole Divas Of Doom angle, where she was saying almost the same stuff, just with more talk about bleach blondes, for extra irony points.

Would have been great way to debut the likes of Paige or Emma etc. Have AJ create her own little gang of female wrestlers that feel they've been marginalised and held back in favour of the models etc. |

Alicia Fox is actually pretty damn good, but the point still stands. You can't tell girls like Naomi and Natalya to "step their game up" and you're in league with Aksana. Aksana is about neck-and-neck with Rosa Mendes in terms of talent.
In that same vein, even though I love both Layla and Alicia and think they both have a lot of talent, you can't accuse the Total Divas girls of getting by only on their looks and then be in league with a Diva Search winner and a model that was handpicked by Johnny Ace.
AJ Lee is, for all intents and purposes, a hypocrite. If it were anyone else, that would be a tell-tale sign that she was the heel in this angle.

Man... I like the part where AJ is told about Natalya being a competent wrestler despite being in Total Divas and AJ goes like "Yeah but nobody cares about Natalya". If this was a "models vs wrestlers" feud, you'll think that AJ would try to convince her to join her side instead of dismissing her because nobody cares about her.

It seemed like to me she wasn't "recruiting" anyone, but playing one set of wrestlers against another in order to distract them making a run for the diVas title.
Pretty smart move when your obsession is trying to keep people from challening for your coveted title.

AJ should be the babyface here in my opinion. None of the Total Divas chicks are likable in the slightest (to me anyways). That includes Natalya Neidhart. They come off as bitchy, arrogant females that think they're above anyone else in the world (Natalya). While AJ comes off as someone who is sick of this nonsense and basically says what most of us say about the show. They are stupid not to see this. They could have the total chicks as heels and it wouldn't really hurt them one bit...people would still watch the show. If they were smart they would do a role reversal here instead of having the unlikable girls as "faces" and the likable girl as a heel.
