I'm glad he returned and honestly think raw is going to be more fun with him. Ever since Sheamus got injured, Kane went to make a movie and Bryan went serious I've been missing some absurdity on raw.

Look, they've already teased Santino winning the Rumble to a tremendous crowd reaction, and teased him winning the Elimination Chamber to an equally strong reaction. Giving him the belt would be a good idea. |

You know what? I can actually see him getting a feud with the Real Americans that leads to a Cesaro face turn and the two of them becoming a new team.
They could actually play off each other as goofy foreigners like Santino and Kozlov, whereas Cesaro doesn't really fit with the Real American gimmick at all.

I think last night was a 1 night thing since he's busy getting his new gym in Toronto up off the ground (which they made sure to promote in the commentary in his match) and I think it'll be a long time, if ever, that he decides to go back out on the road full-time again.

I don't know, but I'll tell you what they need to do - they need to watch clips of him from 2007-2009 to get an idea of how hilarious he was when he was given things to talk about and programs to work with. He was hysterical.

Having Santino as WHC would be 20x more enjoyable than whoever holds the belt now. The name escapes me because he's irrelevant. Anyways, Santino is Stone Cold & Rock combined in comparison to that Latin gentleman.

This idea is gold - especially if you have Cesaro as the "cooler" one, with Santino as his goofy buddy. This could even lead to Santino doing some more serious wrestling without having to drop the comedy gimmick at all. |

I'm not sure either. I was never really all that fond of Team CoBro because it seemed like Ryder and Santino had nothing in common aside from both being comedy characters (also imo Major Bros. > all) , and that aspect didn't really matter all that much since they never really did a lot of segments together. Santino's comedy works best when he's playing off of a "straight man" (see the pairing with Carlito). Put him with another funny guy, and the other guy is just forced to "compete" with him and then one of them will outshine the other. Before Santino disappeared he was teaming with Alex Riley (and the now dearly departed Ted DiBiase Jr) at house shows. He might be a good choice. |
