This feud just seems to exist in its own bubble, nobody involved seems to be aware that Triple H is abusing his power and driving the locker room to the brink of mutiny. Did Punk see the Shield drag Christian out to the stage and just think "Hm, that was different." And then went back to doing whatever it is Punk does backstage?

I assumed that creative at some point wants to involve Punk, Heyman, Brock, or all of them in main storyline, but are either unsure of how to do it at this point or find the current timing bad, so they are placing it in its own bubble.

Well Heyman went to Triple H a few weeks ago to try to get the match cancelled and he got the whole "best for business" speech, with HHH saying that business'll win regardless of whether Heyman got beat up or managed to weasel out of it.

I remember Punk saying he still wanted to be WWE Champion, but he had Heyman and Friends to take care of first. I figure once this feud is hopefully done on Sunday, Punk remembers the WWE title and realizes what's going on.

I figure Punk knows all about it, but he's too busy trying to killshit the guy that betrayed him after years of trust and friendship. We've already seen that his hatred of Paul Heyman and lust for revenge has given him tunnel vision. He lost at Summerslam because of it and he's been on the receiving end of beatdowns courtesy of Curtis Axel as a result of it as well.

Punk doesn't watch the rest of Raw. he sits in his private locker room backstage watching NHL, MLB, NFL or UFC and tweeting about it whilst waiting for the production assistant to inform him it's time to go to the ring for his scheduled promo or that Paul Heyman is calling him out or that there is a Curtis Axel match he might want to interfere in.

Punk already did this storyline with Trips a few years ago. Having Punk be preoccupied with Heyman gives Bryan a chance to play out his part of the angle and get his chance to shine before Punk finds himself at odds (or in cahoots with?) Trips' corporation. I think it works out for the best.

I dunno. As much as he's the voice of the voiceless, or was, it's kinda in Punk's character to look after number 1 and not get sidetracked by other peoples problems.
