If done to comedic effect.
Maybe someone like JTG purchases one share in the company but he gets all delusional and thinks he's got the power of Vince Mcmahon.
He can flat out refuse matches, he can interupt matches and cancel them, start trying to book people in matches and maybe he can start giving his friends try out matches, then we get loads of odd looking characters showing up at Raw with the gm constantly booting them out. maybe the matches he books for superstars end up happening because no one is paying attention to superstars enough to notice what he's doing.
Could provide some decent comedy and give a lower carder something to do
Then he could sell his share eventually for a highly inflated price to someone else who does a different spin on the gimmick.

We had the angle with the executive of UPN going around smackdown deciding what he felt was right for ratings. Closes we will get me thinks.

1. The meme was stupid even as far as memes go. 2. Pretty sure that's how Ric Flair gained power shortly after the Invasion, so it's been done 3. I don't know how you get a comedy gimmick out of something that isn't funny even to the minority of people who get the joke.

I don't think you actually have to get the meme to find this hypothetical gimmick funny. You don't have to be a FAN member to understand that JTG or whoever walks around like he owns the place. It's not like said person is going to be saying "Don't Get Too Attached" as a catchphrase or something.

I wasn't even thinking of the meme when I started this thread.
I've just been thinking recently about WWE as a corporation and how it relates to storylines and thought about an episode of Futurama where the old lady who only owns one share in the company still gets a vote and thought it could be an interesting dynamic to give to a worker and play for comedic effects.

Maybe if it were done like the end of "UHF". One of the WWE's notorious bums hits up Triple H for some change and ends up with a rare, valuable, penny.

Majority Shareholder Mick Foley was awesome in TNA.

Maybe passively.
Attacking an investor/shareholder would be virtually unthinkable, especially for corporate douchebags. So, it could be used as a form of "immunity"

Yeah, it would work. Any time you get a Suit from up top enter and disrupt the world of wrestling it's gonna get boo's. Works for any media really.
