As I'm sure we all remember, it was indeed Heyman and Punk who were behind using the Shield to repeatedly cheat Ryback out of the WWE title, leading to his eventual heel turn. Will Rybully remember this and acknowledge it, cementing what we all know: that he's an idiot, a coward and a hypocrite? Or will they simply gloss this over, and treat Rybully like a completely new character? At this point I don't put it past them, either way.

I'm actually going to say yes because it's Heyman involved.
He's more likely to achnowledge something like that then anyone else would. Could talk about how he would have hired him if he won the WWE title and his plan backfired.

If Paul freaking Heyman can't find a way to explain it that makes it work, nobody can.

Ryback saw what heyman could do for punk, so he wanted heyman todo it for him.

They are strangely continuity-happy nowadays, so yeah, they will. But they'll just acknowledge it without caring if it contradicts the current angle or not, offering a handwave to justify plotholes at the most like with Big Show's iron clad contract not being truly iron clad because "Johnny Ace can't do anything right!"
