Came in to post this. Hall was the 'worker' of that group and that match is dogshit, aside from Kevin Nash's amazing ref elbow drop. And Hall's awesome sell of the Stunner. I still say it should have been Austin vs Angle at Wrestlemania 18, just to blow-off their great feud. A random match on Raw is not the blow-off that feud needed or deserved. yeah especially since Angle was in a throw away match with Kane. They could have had a great blowoff especially if this match had a gimmick like Last Man Standing

vs Owen Hart at Survivor Series 1997. I know he wasn't fit to wrestle and because of how hot he was at the time he had to be on the card. But goodness it's bad.....

vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan. That one match embodied everything that was wrong with WCW at that point.

Should this just be restricted to his WWF work? In ring, that's where his sloppiest/worst matches were mostly. Mostly during the time between when he suffered his neck injury and before he got the surgery. After the surgery, things got a lot better for him match-wise.

Historically, Austin and Jericho have had awful chemistry. Remember Survivor Series '01? Exactly.
Was Backlash '02 the one where Austin did the push ups and faked a hand to hand into a middle finger? That alone was awesome.
hmmm...2002 was a shit year for Austin.
To be fair to this thread, I havent watched enough Austin matches to really put any on here that havent already been said.
Was his match with Angle at Unforgiven, good? Why did Austin tap when he was inches from the rope. He was under the rope, actually. Doesnt that break a hold?

Agreed with Austin/Jericho No Way Out 2002 and Austin/Undertaker Backlash 2002. Terribly boring matches.
Austin and Jericho's match at Vengeance 2001 also wasn't good, although it was the second match of the night for them both so they get more of a pass for that one.

That time in 2001 in Montreal where he was rolling around by himself, pretending to suplex himself 10 times. Then he pantomimed doing the sharpshooter.

Pick any of his matches with Savio Vega. Even the one where he actually won at WM XII was darn disappointing.

I can't imagine The Caribbean Strap Match(es) belonging on this list. Even for as much I think strap matches with the corner touching rule are generally BS, they worked hard in that match and beat the shit out of each other twice within three days.
At the very least, there's got to be more bad nWo matches to get on this list for Austin.

Vs. Bossman at Survivor Series 98?
Vs. Vince on Raw in April 98 with one arm tied behind his baaaacyyghk!
I didn't think his match with Shawn at KOTR 97 was great.
I see he had two more matches against Duggan in 94 - Halloween Havoc 94 and the following Clash of the Champions - both ended in DQ losses for Austin.
Profightdb.com has match listings and they've helped me remember these matches
