I didn't watch NOC, read the results online and thought that winning with a fast count doesn't seem very good guy-ish, but was curious to see where it would go. Then I watch the footage on Raw, where Bryan knees Orton in the face, the ref does the fast 1-2-3, and Orton... just lies there. What?! Isn't the point of a fast count to technically count to three before the wrestler kicks out, even though he kicks out within the normal counting period?
Now, I get that since Triple H is a heel who doesn't want Bryan to be the champion, he'll try to use anything he can to stop him, but why didn't Bryan or the announcers point out that "Hey, Triple H, that footage you provided clearly shows that Orton was down for a normal three count as well. And possibly a five count."
It's like if there's a hockey play-off game where one team is leading with 6-1, and when the leading team is controlling the play, the game is ended three seconds too early. Sure, it's a mistake, but is anyone going to argue that it had an effect on the end result?
