Splinter looks very life-like there ... which could be scary. A human-sized rat that lives in a sewer who trains ninjas is kind of horror film territory if you think about it. I keep seeing the trailers for this and don't really see a problem with it. Maybe my nostalgia for the Turtles just isn't that strong or the fact that Transformers 1 was actually a fun action film overall. I know what you mean. My biggest complaint at this point is that they're too tall....and Megan Fox. But other than it looks like mutant ninja turtles.

And did they HAVE to make That Image the thumbnail? Now they're just trolling us. I'll stick to Nick for my Turtle fix, thank you very much. Did I mention they're going to give us Bebop and Rocksteady??? You know, something fans LIKE?

I will say that, since Greg Cipes is not a "name" despite having talent, I would have hired Garret Dillahunt to be Mikey. His "Burt Chance" voice vaguely has the same vibe to it, now that I think of it.
/Oh, I mentioned Raising Hope? Guess what time it is.... //Yep, it's F*** YOU FOX time!!!!!

How will we know that he's the smart one if he didn't look like the stereotype of a nerd from the 50s? We should be thanking Michael Bay for that decision. It's like having ninjas that make loud noises every time they move... That's the kind of genius decisions he brings to a film.

I People do know that Bay is just a producer on this one if they want to plaster "MICHAEL BAY" all over everything instead of the director's name, than he can be the one taking punches to the face

It's like having ninjas that make loud noises every time they move... That's the kind of genius decisions he brings to a film. Yes, he is the regular Vince Russo of the movie world. Thank God for people like him to save us from that horrid subtlety and stuffy highbrow humor! Likewise, I had no idea the Autobot twins were supposed to be urban, I am SO glad them acting like Amos 'n' Andy cleared that up! I wish he continued on that note, and made them crave KFC-flavored Energon (product placement, yay!) And the new movie? Thank you Michael for dressing Lockdown like a Mexican outlaw, without that I'd have forgotten he was a bounty hunter, seeing as how I haven't seen him in 7 years after YOUR movie killed Animated! That said, at least they weren't poor Ratchet, who wasn't given a surgical mask so we knew he was a doctor. Oh, but that's because he doesn't sell toys or merchandise, so he could be one of the faceless other bots. (See what I did there? #MurdererPrime)

People do know that Bay is just a producer on this one This is clearly a Poltergeist situation. They might not be directing it but the producer's vision is going on screen.

What's the over/under that this is worse than The Last Airbender (both Nickelodeon properties and all...)?

Outside of their pick for Shredder (and even that is salvageable), this is looking pretty damn good.

So Raph is a deformed Hulk and Donatello is the lost Dudley. The more I see, the more I shake my head. This production is a soulless Hollywood hatchet job in a sad attempt to fix what isn't broken. It's the exact opposite of the Nickelodeon Turtles.

What's up with Donatello's tiny legs?
Also, did Michelangelo steal those pants from Kick-Ass?

Why does Shredder's cape need so many blades on it? That just seems excessive. Must be fun when you're walking and that cape sways back into you and cuts your arms all up. Also, I can only assume that Donny is all skinny because he's a nerd, science geek or whatever the hell they think. And April is wearing a yellow jacket. See guys? She's not completely different from the original April. She has a yellow jacket!!!
