Jesus, now that I'm done vomiting all over my desk, let me just say that this stuff makes me glad that the worst I had to deal with were noses and stupid outfits. It's just another example of some Hollywood dickhead trying to reinvent the wheel because they're too arrogant to stick with someone else's basic designs because it limits their "creativity".

Splinter was like something out of a nightmare. He was truly, truly hideous.
I don't mind changes to stories, but how Splinter learned martial arts was the stupidest change. "I found a book on ninjitsu in the sewer."

Is that really any worse than a pet rat somehow being able to mimick his owner doing it?
The '87 cartoon had the most logical version of it. He was a man that knew martial arts before becoming a rat.
I think the new cartoon kept that, as well.

I prefer those to what we got. And just how exactly would those designs be better?

I prefer those to what we got. And just how exactly would those designs be better? They look more like freaking turtles? They are less busy, more sleek. I hate the movie versions with a fiery passion.

Because I like the concept that looks like it could actually move like a ninja? No, I much prefer those concepts over what we got. It looks sleek and mobile like a ninja should. Not saying I like the alien idea, I just prefer (not even like, prefer) the design.

Yeah - I like the ones in the spec design better than the ones from the recent movie. I actually like the ones with the different body types. That would've been interesting to see.

If I was gonna do a TMNT adaption, I'd have followed Chris Allan's models. He struck a good balance between their kid appeal and their badassery.

I grew up on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and love them very much.
I saw the movie today. While it wasn't the worst thing I have ever seen, it was a huge disappointment. Now I'm sad.

I think the new cartoon kept that, as well. It's far dumber than the Mirage origin. Yeah, it's still silly, but he watched Yoshi as an instructor and mimmicked the moves. He had no instructor with that book.

I finally watched this movie yesterday. Yes, it was still in theaters in my area, only a couple of theaters. I was alone in the theater when I saw it. I actually thought it was fun.

I saw it last sunday, It was OK....nothing more nothing less.
Shredder was pretty bland and his suit was stupid, The ending was "Amazing Spider-Man" mk2 & Megan Fox's acting was abysmal.
Everything else was fine though
