I'll say this - the turtles look like actual mutations, which I guess if that's the intention, then it works. Like how the Toxic Avenger looked.

The Turtles look like crap and Shredder is an old white guy. Also, I love how they're supposed to be ninjas yet Leonardo lands with a loud f***ing thud. Real stealthy.

Wow, that looks worse than I expected. From that trailer, it basically looks like 'Transformers: Turtle Power'.
Megan Fox appears to be the center of the movie. If that's not enough to tell you how awful it'll be, I'm not sure what will. As far as the look of the turtles, I don't care for that either. The ending of the trailer with Michelangelo just left me feeling depressed that this thing is actually happening.
As of now, I wouldn't pay a dime to see this thing.

Well, based on the trailer, I probably wouldn't watch it in the theaters, but it doesn't look terrible. Looks like your typical action sci/fi flick. As a "re-interpretation" of the TMNT comic its not so bad, but like I said before, if the Nick cartoon and IDW comic weren't so damn good right now I'd probably be more open to it, but the bar was a bit higher than normal for me.
My biggest complaint (aside from Fox) is that the turtles are just TOO BIG. I can understand a lot of the choices they made in the actual character design, but the sheer size of them is just a bit much.
I'm also torn on Shredder being white, because Will Fitchner is the f***ing man!

The Turtles look way too monster like (I think the adorable Nick designs are growing on me too much), but at least they seem to have their personalities/attitude right. Still not expecting the script to be good, though.

The Turtles look way too monster like I know what you mean. I'm split on that, because they are supposed to be mutated freaks so looking like monsters makes sense in a way, but we're so used to the franchise showing them as more adorable (or at least not freak-ish) that it throws me off. |
