wins the title like in 1992
I think the idea would work well with the current corporation storyline where at the last PPV of the year some controversy happens where the title is held up again and the winner of the Rumble wins the title, and that guy should IMO be Daniel Bryan from #1 and last 70min for the title, which would lead to Cena vs Bryan at Wrestlemania

Personally I think that's what they should do. DB needs to win the Rumble anyway. It would make more sense if he won the title at the same time. I'd turn Cena at Wrestlemania, allowing him to win the title with HHH's help.

I don't think it's a bad idea except having the title vacant two times in a four month period would be kind of tacky.

If there was only one major title, it could work. But it wouldnt feel right to make the Rumble for the WWE Title while neglecting the World Title. The rumble would have to be winner take all with the winner claiming both belts.

Prove who the REAL champion is.

I like it. And really stack that Rumble too - have any surprise guys be past champions or important people to WWE history (so hey, I'd consider Jake to be one of those latter...) If there was only one major title, it could work. But it wouldnt feel right to make the Rumble for the WWE Title while neglecting the World Title. The rumble would have to be winner take all with the winner claiming both belts. Indeed. Without the brand split anymore, having 2 world titles is just weird. Pus the WHT isn't the WWE title - it's the one they inherited from WCW. And to be honest (pre-WCW history aside) I'm surprised that belt hasn't been done away with long before now.

The rumble would have to be winner take all with the winner claiming both belts. Now this is an idea I like. A completely open field for the undisputed title, no champion's advantage. Prove who the REAL champion is. I thought of two scenarios in which an undisputed WWE Champion could be crowned at a Royal Rumble. 1. Have both MiTB cases still in play (so Royal Rumble '15 at the earliest) by the time the Rumble rolls around. Leading into the Rumble both Mr. MiTBs have a lot of pow wows that the cameras just miss out on capturing when doors slam in the camerman's face. Finally the Rumble comes along and as one of the Mr. MiTBs is about to be eliminated, the other one enters the Rumble and makes a bee line to save his counterpart. After helping each other eliminate some guys so that it's just the two of them in the ring (not the last two guys in the Rumble mind you. I think this showdown should happen before participant number 20 is about to come out) and they're about to square off but before they start to fight each other, they both dart out of the ring to get their Money in The Bank briefcases and announce that they're gonna simultaneously cash in their respective MiTB cases during the Royal Rumble match. Now the Rumble goes from 30 entrants to 32 with the addition of the WWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion and now the winner gets both titles. 2. For this year's Rumble the title is vacant either from the current vacancy (although a 3-4 month vacancy would be pushing it) or it gets re-vacated due to some more shenanigans. Leading up to the Rumble, the "intellectual savior of the masses" Damien Sandow tells us how he has a genius idea for the Rumble. When he enters the Rumble cashes in the MiTB case and the World Heavyweight Champion is added to The Rumble and now the Rumble is for both titles.

Why not? The Rumble is meaningless otherwise. Why on Earth would you subject yourself to such a match if there were no payoff? The Rumble winner should get a quickish title shot and win often enough to where you fear it might happen.

If they want to extend the new Corporation angle until Wrestlemania, then that would be perfect for Daniel Bryan to go into the Rumble at #1 and win in a 60+ minute match, maybe even have him break Rey Mysterio's record, and have him win the title at Wrestlemania. I'm not sure if this angle could go that long though...

Only if the wrestlers get to cut promos about being able to win both the Rumble and the title at once.
