I am no WWE insider, but I honestly think the way they are booking this Bryan/Corporation feud is not that difficult to understand, so why are some people questioning every element of it? Take this 11 on 3 match: The Shield have been well established as an unbeatable team that it takes tremendous odds to beat. Having them face that many opponents at once really did not detract from them at all because of that build up. Having a few of the other guys go in as injured also helped level the playing field. And The Shield dominated at first but eventually got worn down-neither side really looked all that weak in this match.
Second, WWE appear to building Daniel Bryan up as their new top babyface in Cena's absence. They had him endure weeks of beatings from Orton and The Shield to help build sympathy for him. They thereby made it that much more satisfying when the rest of the roster came to his aid. They are now building him up as the man of destiny by having the title vacant and having Bryan defeat the unstoppable heels in decisive fashion. I fully expect he will still be on the losing end of some matches yet to help prove that the heels are still a force to be reckoned with.
The booking has been intended to make this about two equal but opposite forces colliding. If Bryan was sure to be the winner going in it would be dull and uninteresting. And it seems to me that it is working pretty well-the crowd reactions the last couple of weeks have been huge. So why is this so hard to understand?
