I mean I know they've been his hired security since the night after Summerslam, and they've been happy to take out whoever Triple H has a problem with. But now, with wrestling in the Gauntlet on SmackDown (until Triple H stopped it), then again in a Six Man Tag later against the Usos and D-Bry, and now on RAW in an 11 on 3 Handicap Match. Even the Shield weren't thrilled about that.

I'm waiting for them to turn on him and give him a beatdown. Leading to Orton and Shield joining forces on their own without the need for Triple H.
Then Triple H returning in a few months to steal Daniel Bryan's thunder and lead the fightback against Orton and Shield; eventually pinning Orton and becoming the new WWE Champion. Bryan instead gets shunted backwards and wins the US title instead.

I think last night was planting any kind of seed for a face turn when Cole sympathized them a bit on commentary.

Why not split them up or take the most over of all 3 and break him off? Let the other two develop some more and give the 3rd man the chance to shine.

It's pretty much a hint that they'll ditch H later on, probably when Bryan decides to go after him.

I dunno, the way they pretty much ran through a good chunk of the roster in that 11-3 match makes me think he's only overestimated their ability by a small margin.

Would be a good moment when HHH is defenseless and The Shield just steps aside to let Bryan go after him.

Shield abandons Triple H.
Triple H hires a different set of mercenaries.
We get Shield vs. Wyatts 6-Man tag.

yep, they will endure everything for a while, then one day, after another humiliation Bryan will go after Trips with the Shield standing in line between them, Trips will shout orders at them and they'll just look at each others and slowly open the way. I can picture it already. Then Bryan will walk slowly to Trip with a sadistic smile and his face as Trips will sell concern. He'll ask for Big Show to do something but Show will passively look at the scene, smiling (or crying, i'm not sure). That's great television out there! Bryan will walk slowly to Trips and they'll stare at each other in the eyes, crowd will be nuts and will YES! for a beating like crazy then.... {Spoiler}Spoiler KICK TO THE BALLS - PEDIGREE
The show will end with Trips standing tall over an unconscious Bryan.
That or Trips will back up until the next PPV where he'll pin Bryan and win the title. We know we need ONE...LAST...RUN, it's what's good for dis business.

They could always repackage the 3MB as being more effective and Hunter could recruit them. They'd still be cocky douches, but they'd actually be winning matches.

Strange decision by HHH to punish his only line of defence.

I dunno, the way they pretty much ran through a good chunk of the roster in that 11-3 match makes me think he's only overestimated their ability by a small margin. But on the other hand, he's been running them ragged for weeks with no end in sight. If anything, it's a matter of how much their bodies (and minds) can take doing HHH and Orton's dirty work every week.

No, he's not asking from them anything he couldn't do on his own. I'm sure if given challenge, that he would overcome all 11 wrestlers. Probably under 5 minutes. Shield better step up their Game.

While I'm sure it'll end that way, This is still the worst idea I have ever read. I actually posted it as a joke comment of something that would never happen. Yet... part way through writing it I realised, that it could be the exact thing the WWE are planning Honestly, I would not be shocked in the slightest if a Triple H faceturn (and eventually lead the fightback against Shield & Orton) is the plan

I'm thinking it'll either lead to Ambrose saying something about it & standing up to Haitch, only for the other two to stick with the guy that signs their checks and boot him out of the group to have Ambrose act as a wild card in the closing months of this or...
Yeah, basically the Lion King scenario. Triple H continues to run the Shield ragged with the rewards not justifying the work and come time for them to save his neck, they'll leave him to Bryan. Maybe even, like the hyenas, picking at what's left after he's been thrashed.

I think HHH will play up the fact that the 3-Man team eliminated over half of the 11-Man Team with ease (7 eliminations down to Bryan, Usos, and R-Truth) not to mention even when Seth Rollins was in there by himself versus 5 men he didn't despair and still managed take out Kofi first and forced Team Bryan to get serious about perhaps the least-strongest Shield member.
That's totally winning by losing if there ever was such a thing in the WWE.
