We see him sit up in bed as he says "It was all a dream!"
Then he begins to discuss his days reading 'Word Up!' magazine.

If you want him to go out winning, WrestleMania.
If you want him to go out losing, Survivor Series.

I really like the idea Lance Storm had for him.
Undertaker promos that as long as the streak is intact, he will wrestle to keep it alive. His career ends when the streak ends.
BOOM, every Undertaker match at WM is a draw because it's likely to be his last match. It would've been better had they done it years ago, but eh. I'm all about him losing the streak, just as long as they do something with it. For instance, I'm fine with Cena breaking it, but if that happens he's gotta do it by cheating and he's gotta turn heel from it.

Cryme time reunite for one night only to sell his underwears to the crowd. That's how we learn the deadman was wearing thongs all those years.
Then Trips and HBK beat him up, put him in a casket and send him back to Death Valley wrestling.

He wins his final match, does the classic pose one more time, lights go out, lights come back on with the urn on the mat and the bells tolling as the PPV fades out.
......and with the exception of a HOF induction, we never see the Undertaker in a WWE arena ever again.

goes out with a loss at a Survivor Series, streak at Mania intact I'm all for this. Debut at Survivor Series, go out at Survivor Series. The streak should never end. At this point, it's a huge part of the character. He's been a loyal, awesome worker for all these years, I say let him go out with it.

First, I believe that they will induct 'Taker into the HOF before his last WM match, much like they did with Flair. Hence the reason I have it ending this particular way.
WM XXX has 'Taker take on Bray Wyatt in a casket match in which 'Taker wins. When the match is over, Rowan and Harper attack 'Taker, and pull Bray Wyatt out of the casket. Bray and the rest of the family throw 'Taker into the casket. Bray lights his lantern (real gas lantern, not that LED one) while Rowan and Harper push the casket up the aisle. R&H stop pushing the casket right by the entrance. Bray has Harper pour gasoline on the casket. Bray then throws his lit lantern at the doused casket, breaking the glass and setting the casket on fire. When people come out to put out the fire, the Wyatts wipe them out. Finally, the amount of people trying to put out the casket become overwhelming and the Wyatts can't prevent the fire from going out. They can then go to the whole ending from the 'Taker/Yokozuna casket match from 1994 Royal Rumble but with him saying that after all of these years he can finally rest in peace and he rises out of the burned casket and rises into the rafters, never to be seen in the WWE again.

Have him and Kane face off at Mania one more time, but let it be known that for both men it's their final match. Taker wins, him and Kane show their gratitude for one another and then the lights go out. The lights come back on and in the middle of the ring lies the urn and Kane's mask. This is kind of along the line of what I was thinking as well. Kane vs. Undertaker at WM and at the end, Kane finally looks like he's going to win. He hits a Tombstone on Taker and covers. The ref begins to count. 1-2, lights go out. We give both of them enough time to vacate the ring and hide under it before the lights come back on to reveal a ring empty of everyone save the referee, who's still about to count the third second in confusion.

It's WrestleMania XXX. John Cena's waiting in the ring, the lights go out. The druids line the aisleway, carrying torches and chanting. The gong goes off, and the Undertaker makes that long walk down the aisle, past the druids. Undertaker makes it into the ring and the lights come up. Cena grabs a microphone and says "Yeah, so you got druids, you got torches, you got lightning and all this streak nonsense. So what!"
Undertaker grabs the microphone and says "So what? So let's dance!" Then Taker, Cena, and all the druids dance to Journey's "Any way you want it" and the match never happens.

He should remain undefeated. Would be neat if he had a couple of months before wrestlemania where he wrestled on raw a few times just as a sort of farewell tour and then took on whoever in his final wrestlemania. Of course it shouldn't be mentioned that it's his final wrestlemania.

Oee last match at WrestleMania against Jack Swagger. Swagger goes for the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but Taker sits up. Out of desperation, Swagger cries out "WHY WON'T YOU DIE!" and locks on the ankle lock. Suddenly the lights dim, the bell tolls, and a demonic voice says "It's time" Taker slowly looks up to the sky, nods his head yes, and obliges the voice by tapping out.

-Wrestlemania XXX, likely with Taker beating Cena to keep the streak going, happens.
-The night after Wrestlemania on Raw, Undertaker takes the stage, and announces that for 24 years, he's beaten all of the greatest challengers, and that Cena had taken him closer than any man had ever come to destroying the Streak. He knows that, if he keeps going, he'll eventually lose the first time at this rate- but he wants to go out with as great a chance to go out on top as possible. He then announces one year out, in advance, that Wrestlemania 31 will be his final match, whether he wins or loses. He then says that, for nearly 25 years, men have challenged 'him' to take The Streak, but for his final match, HE will challenge some wrestler on the roster, and that the entire WWE roster has one year to impress him enough to make him challenge them. That Raw ends with Taker saying, "You're all on notice- you have one last shot at The Streak."
-Throughout the next year, Undertaker sporadically shows up every couple months on Raw, on Smackdown, on NXT, even being seen watching on an odd Superstars now and then, as the announcers hype up that he's scouting every single member of the WWE to find the man he'll challenge in his final match. Once or twice, if he does, you have a heel try to do something to make Undertaker choose them- invariably ending with a quick Tombstone and a "You are not worthy" by Undertaker.
Finally, at Elimination Chamber 2015, one wrestler [either a WHC/WWE Champ or someone who's caught fire in the year] fights hard in the Chamber, comes up just short- but Undertaker's there afterwards, looks at the person, and says "I challenge YOU".
End result- whether the wrestler wins or loses, hopefully you elevate the guy hard just by Undertaker personally choosing them as his final opponent, or if they break the streak, they get made.

Undertaker is eliminated last from Royal Rumble after putting up the strongest battle to overcome the odds, possibly beaten down by the eventual winner and his cronies afterwards. Following night on Raw, the winner of Royal Rumble brags about his win and how he will go to 'Mania to become a Champion. 'Taker comes out and challenges the winner saying that there is a bigger match at 'Mania than the title match and that is the match for the streak. Winner of Rumble then dismisses this, saying he only wants the title shot. 'Taker plays mind games and getting under the skin of Rumble winner. At Elimination Chamber 'Taker wins the title meaning that RR winner has to face 'Taker. Undertaker wins at Mania, retires with the streak intact and leaves with the urn and belt left in the ring. In a moment of breaking kayfabe the following night on Raw is a night dedicated to the career of Undertaker. The title is vacant and we don't see Undertaker until Hall Of Fame the following year.

While a match with Taker is bigger than the title, I feel that it should never be stated out loud by the wrestlers.

How should the undertaker retire? Alongside HHH and HBK, the three of them raising their arms, giving the crowd one last goodbye. ...wait...
