It's funny one someone makes a post like this and just doesn't come back.
It's like dropping a grenade.

It looked silly to me at first, but it grew on me. As most have said, it became a part of TNA's identity as something different from WWE, and it did actually allow them to do some different camera angles that made their overall product something new and unique.

It was truly a "squared circle".

I don't care how many sides the ring is, but when it changed it's a good marker for when TNA was no longer must watch.

I don't care how many sides the ring is, but when it changed it's a good marker for when TNA was no longer must watch. This is the main reason people miss it I think. Its sort of the symbol of when TNA was enjoyable.

Thank god they have the ramp all the way to the 4 sided ring so all TNA stars in their prime can be rolled out in wheelchairs, brother.

I liked it well enough but if it was really that rough on the wrestler's bodies, it can stay gone.

Hardly a deal-breaker either way but I liked it.

It makes no sense to me when people say the ring looked bush league. What? A few extra sides on a ring and suddenly it looks cheap? How the hell does that work?

Wanting it back is symbolic. TNA in late 2009 was genuinely enjoyable TV and losing the six-sided ring is relatable to them losing their identity.

I loved the 6 sided ring, it made for a completely different dynamic. I started watching TNA in 2005 and that was something i found really interesting.

I miss the six sided ring. The X-Divisioners always made great use of it, I think it was actually said that they were able to get more spring from the ropes.

It was one reason why I couldn't get on the tna bandwagon. It looked stupid and it was different just for the sake of being different.

I worked a show that had a 6 sided ring as a manager. It felt weird being on the outside.
It was even weirder for the guys in the ring, as they had never worked one before. It took a couple of minutes for them to adjust.
It makes a HUGE difference.
But in the end, I enjoyed it. It was something different & that's what made it good for me as a fan!

Which matches would you say made for the best use of the six-sided ring?

Which matches would you say made for the best use of the six-sided ring? Pretty much anything X Division related.
