Most of the big angles seem to be properly having the desired crowd reactions, finally. Like, we've had week after week of properly hot crowds. Some not quite as hot as others, I know, but the heels are getting booed and the faces are getting cheered. Angles are featuring a mix of established main event players (who, unlike the Millionaires' Club, are the heels) being used to get over young stars like The Sheibd, Cody Rhodes and others.
I am genuinely more invested in WWE than I've been since the start of the InVasion. Watching the Sheibd destroying the Rhodes family, I was BEGGING for them to get the shit kicked out of them. Honestly, I've been marking for them since the very start, but now I just want to see them get their asses kicked. I want Cody and Goldust to DESTROY Rollins and Reigns.
Am I the only one who is really feeling the vibe now?

You're not the only one. I wanted the Shield to suffer for their crimes against the Rhodes family. I wanna see CM Punk shut Heyman up for good. I want to see Hunner and Steph finally get what's coming to them. And hell, I was screaming for Orton to be destroyed and dismembered for his attack on Bryan last night. It feels good to be invested in all of this.
Last time I had such an investment in a wrestling angle was the CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho feud from 2012. (Yes, the whole "your father's an alcoholic" angle)

This is the first time in a long while I've largely been wanting the faces to win. The only real exceptions are that I want AJ to keep the divas title, and I'd be perfectly okay with Heyman's crew continuing to beat Punk to a smear every week.

Yeah it's been a long time since I supported most of the faces in this company. As much of a downer the last two months worth of Raws have been, they are doing their job. Funny, it took NWA/WCW style strong heels, underdog faces to do that.

Yes they're doing a good job in getting people to root for the faces.

Though, I will say the downer Raws have made moments like the WWE Avengers saving Daniel Bryan from The Shield very satisfying as hell.

If you made this thread last thursday I'd agree but after Smackdown and Raw it seems like they're falling off the rails again.

I'm with this, it feels like they had a good plan to start with the Corporation stuff but now they're just trying to hold on for as long as they can. Show's are still enjoyable and the crowd reactions are great though.

Get rid of Deux Ex Mach-Cena for a while, and the faces can get heat because everyone knows that Foregone Conclusion Man isn't there to make them all look useless (not that it's entirely his fault, but still).
That, and The Shield is what The Nexus should have been.

Yeah, It seems like all the midcard faces are being phased out of this story. The Usos still get some shine, but I feel like that's only because Rollins and Reigns are tag champs and they have to defend the titles against SOMEONE.

Hmm with Ziggler on the pre-show is Ambrose going to be regulated to manager?
Also yes desired heel and face reactions for the first time in forever.
WWE has made hated heels and loved baby faces.
The top good guys Are: Bryan Punk The Rhodes Family The Usos Ziggler Rvd
The top badguys are: Orton Heyman Guys Shield ADR
If wwe gets serious about the Real Americans and the Wyatts we could have a lot more heels the audience rallies against.
It is wierd that all the titles are held by heels though

They're probably putting a hold on the full revolt as the stories like Bryan vs. Orton and the Rhodes family vs. the McMahons take shape. I think right around Hell in a Cell (and leading into Survivor Series), we'll see things pick up again.

It really stagnated this week. I haven't read any Smackdown spoilers but I hope it recovers.

Yes, I'm booing HHH and Stephanie McMahon, but it's for all the wrong reasons WWE wants.
I'm booing because I want them to get the hell off my TV screen.

I was NEVER more invested in a wrestling show than I was for Summerslam. But since then I've lost like all interest. Why?
Randy Orton.
