When I think of the WWE ECW Champion I think of CM Punk, Christian, and Big Show

Big Show in easily the best title run of his career with any belt.

Matt Hardy and Christian both carried the show when they had it. I went with Matt.

Christian, easy. Two good reigns, very, very solid weekly matches, and a character/presence that made him the best babyface of 2009 in my opinion.

Christian had great matches with just about everyone he worked with. He could have easily done the same with the WWE title IMO.

Christian was on a MISSION when he came back. I think getting put on ECW pissed him off, and he went hard to prove that he deserved he bigger spot. He got over and had great matches with everyone. Wasn't enough though.

Big Show.
His reign was the only one where the ECW title seemed on par with the other 2. (Or at least the WHC.)

Christian's title reign, to me, is the epitome of how to book a babyface champion. Solid run, took on all comers, never took an easy out, and put on great match after of great match. Definitely the best WWECW Champ in my opinion.

Difficult for me to say since I was on a hiatus from WWE during the entire WWECW run but from what I've seen I'd have to say Christian. His reigns are always talked about well and every match I've seen from his title reigns were good to brilliant. I've heard decent things about Hardy's, Henry's and Show's reigns too though.

Matt HArdy and Christian
Honorable mention for John Morrison. Morrison was one of those guys who imo looked pretty damn good with a belt.

christian i guess. but i lost interest after RVD lost it. It was clear from that point forward, that it would be ECW in name only

Christian for the reasons mentioned above, although I have to say I loved Dreamer's run for the belt and reign as a "one last run" legend. You can tell he worked like his legacy was on the line.

Christian, easy. Two good reigns, very, very solid weekly matches, and a character/presence that made him the best babyface of 2009 in my opinion. I very much agree. Christian made it feel like a real world title for the first time since Big Show's awesome reign.

Christian's runs were excellent.
I liked how he was just a babyface fighting champion who fought all comers and defended against anybody, regardless of who they were. It was a fun run that made even the lower card guys look credible since they got title shots and competitive matches.

I gave up on WWECW long before Christian came back, so I can't really say him. Big Show's reign was pretty freakin good despite him being the antithesis of what ECW was. It actually worked to his favor. He was a working heel that made you tune in to see him bc you wanted him to lose. He got tremendous heat and he defended every week and always against a main event guy. Ifnot for the lack of direction for the brand, you could say he got that title over and made it important

Christian, Punk, Hardy, Dreamer, Big Show, all had really great runs. Say what you want about hardy now but at the time he was putting on some of the best shit every night. Christian's run was the best though.
