With the rise and fall of Vacant as WWE Champion more than likely ending on Sunday, let's reflect on the memories we had with Vacant as our WWE Champion.
Vacant was really promising when he won the title, but he obviously let success get to his head, and let his body go to hell. He wasn't ready, but maybe one day he will be ready, like his ancestors in the past.

I'm thinking we'll have a few more weeks of it, before it ends at Hell in a Cell, personally.

He was a vanilla midget and a belt mark. He was bound to fail eventually.

I like how he just blends in with the show and doesn't make everything about himself. Really gives the rest of the card a chance to shine.

Well he still has the championship advantage at battleground, a double count-out/DQ may see Vacant contiuning his reign, it could be a lot like JBL's run as champion where he always finds a way to walk out as champion.
Besides how many times has been champion now (especially in WCW)? Vacant always finds a way.

He's only ever been a transitional champion. They'll never have him be the guy.

I like how he just blends in with the show and doesn't make everything about himself. Really gives the rest of the card a chance to shine. Unlike some guys backstage. He really thinks about whats best for business. If anything Triple H stole his gimmick.

hey Vacant did pretty well i thought for how badly the writers misued him during this reign. they hardly mention him on the show and that laryngitis he caught right after winning the belt really ruined his chance to cut any decent promos like we all know he can. Don;t see how he can keep the title at the PPV though- Bryan and Orton have really been put over so it's almost certain one of them is taking the title. I just hope Vacant doesn;t take the pin so he can claim he never got beat for the belt and can stay in the title picture for a bit before he gets bumped back to the midcard.

I think it's time for him to step aside anyway.
No one else in the industry has had even 5% as many title runs as he has across all promotions. It's time for him to pass the torch.

I'll never forget when he gave us some much needed respite from HHH's hold over the World Heavyweight Championship in late 2004, unfortunately his reign only lasted a few weeks until HHH won it back.
