Because I'm going to try and stay positive about that show I just watched for the moment, and that was easily the highlight.
So, yeah, great, great match, with a perfect ending. And hell did Rollins sell that CrossRhodes like crazy. I'm becoming a fan of him like I am the other Shield members just based on how everything looks like he's just died.

That was the highlight of the show. Great moment from someone who grew up watching Dusty as a kid, Goldust as a teen, and Cody as an adult. Loved the Bionic Elbow to Ambrose. And I loved the Darth Maul facepaint from Goldust.

honestly when Dusty pulled off his belt and decked Ambrose I thought Ambrose might blade, suggesting Dusty loaded his fist with the buckle

Made me think more than ever that Cody Rhodes is money. Goldust was great too, add that to the Shield's usual high quality work and there's no way this wasn't going to be great, and it delivered big-time.

Match was quite good. More than that, I felt like the post match celebration actually felt sort of real and special. Definite thumbs up on this one.

I said it in the PPV thread, but I'll say it again: I legitimately had goosebumps during the post-match celebration. That was one of the greatest feel good moments I've seen in wrestling in quite some time.
Now push Cody to the moon, please.

where do we go from here?
I'd like to see a 6 man with Booker T as the Rhodes partner, then let Goldust have a shot at Del Rio for the World Title.
After that the Shield have to deal with the Usos. They can bring up Rikishi for like a legends match and have the Shield beat him down. Then the next week find out that was an even worse idea than going after the Rhodes when every living member of the Anoi'a family shows up

That pic with Roman Reigns seems destined to be a Photoshop thread. That's magnificent.

They made Cody look like a freaking _star_ tonight.
Hopefully they actually do something with that.

Yeah, I'll admit that until this while thing started, Cody had always just been "there" to me. I didn't love him, didn't hate him, he was just there.
This angle has made that guy in my eyes.
I always love singular moments where you can say "Yeah, that's when that guy became a star." It happened with Adam Cole's match with Kyle O'Reilly in ROH, and it happened with Cody tonight, in my eyes.

I'd like to see a 6 man with Booker T as the Rhodes partner, then let Goldust have a shot at Del Rio for the World Title. Give Goldust a thank you run with the WHC, culminating with Cody taking it from him in a Flair/HBK-style match at Mania. Elevates Cody, makes the WHC look good, and gives Dustin the send-off he deserves.

Team bryan is rhodes and usos vs orton, shield, and mystery man
The match was great. Goldust has hit another level. Cody has just reached the brass ring.
Would love to see cody chase ambrose for the us title and make it really old school magnum/horsemen style booking

Cody Rhodes is white hot after last night. His bit of the pre-match promo was excellent, the match was insane and one of the best tag matches I've seen in a long time, and the reaction to the win was insane. Cody has become my favourite current wrestler.
