It's too bad there's no such thing as surgery for being stale. Glad the dude's (apparently) healthy, but this doesn't negate how impossibly played out his act is.

Cena wins. ADR does the arm thing and beats done Cena. Sandow cashes in. Cody vs Sandow Cody wins. boyhood dream achieved. Cena is not going to be a go to for that. Cena is not coming back for a match he's going to lose, or lose the title. Sandow can cash in, but he's not beating Cena. And Cody is probably going to win the US title if he win anything now.

It is the same as kids that marked for such bouts like Hulk Hogan versus Andre the Giant that were terrible in re Soom and gave them a mediocre product since they could not protest. No one was watching Hogan/Andre for match quality. And as a dude who watched it live on closed circuit, when I look back it will ALWAYS be my favorite wrestling memory. Was it a good match if you were watching for moves? Hell no. But it wasn't meant to be. Kids today that cheer Cena, most of em, aren't gonna look back and think "gee I got mediocre wrestling". They're gonna look back and say "I loved that back then." Maybe I am too picky, but for me, guys at that level making that sort of money should be putting on much more effort than they do. It is similar to working your butt off and finding out the guy with less skill or who half asses everything moves up because he is well liked or is better looking than you. Without coming across as a hipster, this is probably why I do not like most things that are mainstream. I know what the template is for something to be considered good, but I want to see that those individuals that are making more than ten times of my yearly income, put a little bit of extra pep into what they do. My bad for generalizing it. I am just so frustrated that I gave RAW a chance after so long and saw the show that I just did.

1. Bring back a healing John Cena to boost ratings/buyrates 2. Have him squash ineffective heel Alberto Del Rio in 5 minutes 3. Damien Sandow cashes in on Cena, with the excuse that he's still not quite 100% 4. Cena goes back home to heal 5. You're Welcome. More than likely what they have planned. And I hope we're right. I enjoy Del Rio, but he needs an angle with camera time, NOT the WHC. He's had it too long with RVD and Ricardo being the closest to an actual story. Put him down lower on the card, start giving him actual angles, and he can be a whole lot better. And Sandow getting the belt from Cena would give him a crazy amount of heat. Though, I will say Cena having a serious reign with the belt for three months then dropping would be something.

Hurray! * *Don't know if this is a great idea. Worried about his health. Cena can just win the belt in a quick semi-squash while taking minimal, if any bumps. No one cares about the World Title anyway, so Cena can win it and disappear from TV with it while he finishes his recovery. He can either appear sporadically like the champions of old, and then once everyone forgets the World Title exists, Cena can call out the WWE Champion (hopefully Bryan) to see who the true Champion is. Or they can quietly forget the belt, make Cena "The Final World Heavyweight Champion" and have him come back without it.

Gives WWE a perceived buyrate boost, and gets the title onto another heel.

You'd think the man would take an extended vacation after wrestling nonstop for about 10 years now.

No way in hell do they bring Cena back for a one off to get the title on Sandow. Not a chance in hell. Dude is back full time or he wouldn't be coming back at all.

While WWE is more than happy to pull screwjobs on other guys, I don't think they are going to pull that here with Cena. That would be the biggest bait and switch for him to come in for one night, win the title and immediately drop it and go home.
I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that he leaves the arena as World Heavyweight Champion.

If this is real, I actually don't think there's any long-term plan behind Cena being in the WHC scene. It feels more like they didn't want to derail the main event angles they'd already plotted out for the rest of the year, and they had nothing for Alberto del Rio other than aimless aggression anyway, so since Cena managed to superhumanly come back early, they figured Del Rio was a good choice for someone credible-looking to feed to him.

Oh, and John Cena's Make A Wish appearances are going to be even more inspirational in a few years when he's a crippled, one-armed man who nonetheless reguarly overcomes adversity and wins wrestling championships.

The one Raw I miss my favorite of all time returns. I can't wait. What a shocker. I never thought Cena would win the WHC again.

At least someone will possibly end the Del Rio title run and it's someone I like this time.

Closest I've come to shutting off Raw in a long time. Even closer than that "Walkout" stuff.
I'm sure it makes a lot of fans happy, but boy am I disappointed that Cena is back. They couldn't go 2 months without freaking about and bringing him back, that's what bothers me most. They have no idea what to do without him.
