Imagine if they had The Miz in that position and was telling him to knock out Dusty?
The only reason Dusty would have ended up on the floor is from laughing so hard.

I agree with that. But to me it seemed like WWE PUT Show in that position. I get that Big Show is a big star and WWE is compelled to give him something to do to keep him busy. But why bother having Show be one of the guys speaking out against the Authority. Why not let it be JUST between Ziggler or Miz? Or throw in one of the many underutlized faces to let them get some shine? The fans didn't "choose" Show. WWE pulled all that stuff about Big Show's money problems, and put him at the center of the stage with HHH getting in his face and daring him to do something, so as to make Show seem like the "logical" choice. It was set up just like the RAWActive polls are usually set up. Put Miz, Ziggler, or even Yoshi Tatsu in that position and you'd get the same reaction. The financial bullshit didn't happen til later. Why'd they pick those three? Not counting Cody, who they were already planning to "fire" those three are the top midcard baby faces. This is a main event angle, you use the upper midcard, not the jobbers. And one of those jobbers hasn't had a win on television since ECW was a brand. I'm sorry but, with all due respect, the three of them together would not be as visually effective as the one Big Show, let alone any damn one of them by themselves. I mean, Yoshi? Come on...

My theory is that HHH believes that Daniel Bryan couldn't take him out, so it had to be someone that's physically superior to HHH. He's The Asskicker. That would be viable but if what I read is correct, They have been building bryan's running knee as a devastating KO move that in kayfabe can take out anyone.

You think Triple H is just going to stand there while Bryan gains a running start? This is Triple f***ing H! The man beat former UFC Champion Brock Lesnar and he would've beat The Undertaker if that dum dum Shawn Michaels didn't stop him from committing murder! The Cerebral Assassin is a bit too smart to get hit with a flying knee... Hell, Triple f***ing H hits a JUMPING knee all the time! You ask Mario Super Mario, which is better, jumping or flying? He'll tell ya... Jumping. Ain't nobody got time for Raccoon suits! But yeah, I guess that knee could've knocked him out.

It would be done out of nowhere, Which he can do, Trips is gloating over shows firing, bryan comes from under the ring and boom.

Cause it had to happen at this point in the story.
You could make the argument that Show should have never gotten involved with this story, sure. But, for the direction they've gone in, Show had to knock HHH (or Steph but that ain't happening) at some point.

I'm not fussed by it at all. Bryan's priority right now should be Orton and the WWE Championship, not putting his knee through Triple H's face. There will be time for that eventually... hopefully.

Key word being 'hopefully'. I would be genuinely shocked if HHH and Bryan end up having a match, just because I can't imagine HHH 'lowering himself' (in his mind) to face Daniel on PPV.

I could understand that. Personally, should Bryan win the Royal Rumble or something, I'd see Triple H offering Bryan a 1-on-1 match as some kind of bait for a final last-ditch plan to get the WrestleMania title shot off of him.
