I always liked Al as Leif...he was the closest thing to Stevie Richards that the WWF had at the time.

What exactly was Leif Cassidy supposed to be? Just a random guy? It didn't really end up getting developed very much, but instead of an 80s Rocker, like the original Rockers, he was a dorky 70's teen idol rocker (the name is a play on Leif Garrett and David Cassidy - who were kind of like the boy bands of that era.) Really fun idea in theory, and Al made it work in a few segments, but they never went all out with it. |

I love Al/Leif waving enthusiastically to HBK's handheld camera. Also some of the moves he broke out there. Unrelated, but nice little callback to the Hart/Lawler feud too. |
