Storylines can be a double edged sword. For example, the Edge/Booker T match at WMX8. It had that terrible Japanese shampoo commercial storyline attached to it. If it would have focused more on say the winner is put into a better position toward the WWE title, then it would've been better. Even though the match itself was ok, it will be always dragged down because of the stupid storyline.
