He went to saying NO right because he thought the fans saying YES were mocking him him right and even changed the name of his finisher to the No lock. Was any explanation given why he likes YES again?

Once Bryan started getting hot in those six man tags with the Shield, he officially turned face as opposed to just simply being a tweener bordering on heel who coincidentally gets booked against other heels.
He started embracing the YES! again because he realized the crowd was firmly behind him.

There was a point when he faced Ryback on RAW that he knew he had to start drawing the power of YES from the fans. You could literally see the switch come over him as he stood on the entrance ramp.

I'm kinda starting to hate them, because they feel like a cheap way to keep him over as he looks like a fool and gets beat up every week. He's still YES over, but it's hard to believe in him when he looks so ineffective outside of the confines of a fair wrestling match. There's different levels to overness, being able to beat someone in the ring is only one part of it. If Austin got booked like this it wouldn't have worked out so well for him. He got booked as a killer in the ring and a conniving sum'bitch outside of it that could fight off a bunch of guys if need be and stay a step ahead of the heels. I'm not seeing that with Bryan, I think they're re-enforcing Triple H's "B+" sentiment.

I love that so much of wrestling can be described as the hero building Spirit Bombs to overcome the villain.
