I'm not sure if the thread title is good enough or not, but here's my idea
Suppose to create a crusierweight title WWE gave Yoshi Tatsu a belt and brought him back to TV declaring he won the SWS (Super world of Sport) CW title while wrestling in Japan in SWS, a company WWE started a working relationship with in 1991.
Or the Shield is scheduled to wrestle a mystery team who were once WWE tag champs. And suddenly we hear "Here comes the Ax, here comes the Smasher" and two guys come out in Demolitions old gear including the face masks. Announcers talk and say they look like they haven't aged a day and say they get squashed before they can take their face masks off.
