but he didn't have any pyro or even his 'I Walk Alone' theme yet so instead he just looked like he was dancing like a spaz before the biggest match of his life at Wrestlemania 21? Good times.

If he was smart, he should have debuted it a month or two before mania so they could have got the idea to give him pyro for it at mania. Oh well.

I remember Santino mocking him for shooting the lazers from his hands like an eight years old boy.

That would have taken away from HHH's Motorhead entrance. I still find it funny in a way that both the WWE Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion got elaborate WrestleMania entrances, but their challengers, who beat them, got pretty basic entrances.

It's still a cabbage patch to me, dammit! THANK YOU! I was trying to think of what dance he was doing but, for the life of me, couldn't remember the name of it.

I hadn't even noticed that entrance taunt until it was in Day of Reckoning 2, honestly. I still have no idea what the hell Batista was going for with that before the pyro.

Remember when they made a break in the song for his taunt and pyro but he kept taking longer and longer so there was this random silence in his theme for no reason

As much crap as he takes, I loved 2005 Batista. He was still fresh as a face and wasn't into his "that title belongs to me" stage yet. Mainly because he was in first reign, but it was still fun and better than people ever give it credit for.

From the second he annihilated La Resistance and planted the flag in their collective ass, he was awesome.

Every reaction. Nothing over the top, but still clear. He was great then. I love in the Japan RAW where he's holding up Triple H's arm, and he looks at the World Title for just a few seconds too long, and then at Triple H...

Oh yeah, I remember, because it was in SvR 06. Me and my friend used to joke he was losing control of his imaginary horse drawn carriage.

"*machine gun noise* I'm A BAPTISTA!!!!" I did love that entrance though, his Douchetista spotlight entrance was brilliant as well. I thought it was planned the first few times I saw it, because the timing is genius! Due to the guy having enough time to do the Batista entrance pose, the security comically running after him in front of the camera and Batista's look on his face. It just looked too good to be something unplanned and I just thought it was a fun backstage skit that the writers thought up before the show. The fact that he managed to get backstage and in front of the camera (and not be a plant) is insane to me.
