...it wasn't their heel commentator, was it? I've had a bone to pick with that fella since he decided he'd take up a few minutes on air to unprofessionally air his opinion regarding people on the Internet. Not sure but he took great glee in bragging when they had that stupid angle where some internet reporter got beat up by Saxon i think. So it may be him. So you're a member of Trent's board. I'm not a member of that board but I do read it on a regular basis. That guy you are talking about loves to take shots at people who critique TCW shows. Which is stupid because he makes threads about the show and ask for responses. When they aren't pissing on the internet, they are waging a fantasy war against WWE.

Barely. They ran a Super Show this past weekend with Davey Boy Smith Jr, Gedo, Jushin Liger, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Lance Hoyt, Michael Tarver, Rob Conway and Takashi Watanabe They managed about 400-500 fans paid. Not a bad effort but with 5 or 6 fly ins and arguably the greatest Junior Heavyweight of all time it's not that great. They didn't advertise this card once to the IWC which they probably should have because...well the IWC likes NJPW

Looking at the feds now they don't look terrible. FSW and and NYWC have more names I recognize but IMO they already have the potential to be better than current NWA. Now a couple of promotions like RCW look a little small time, but maybe this will help if they get other smaller promotions in PA involved

Don't post very often, but use the same name. I've argued with him some and he went and edited out all his assholish behavior.

It's an OK idea I guess.
I don't really understand how it will work.
1) Without dues or fees I don't understand how they will even maintain a website unless somebody is just footing the bill. 2) I don't understand what anybody gets out of it. 3) Being the TV is needed I can only imagine that they will be obligated to air some sort of ads.
I just don't really get it...
I always wanted to do something like this but wrestlng itself it flooded with bad promoters and terrible businessmen. I'm sure this is the first and last thing I will ever hear about this.

The thing with this organization is that the feds that are a part of it (at least the ones I know) are legit, not barely scraping by like the majority of the NWA. They probably have some start up funds to get their name out there, especially in local markets such as Long Island and NYC for the NYWC for example. I'm sure Anthony Nese, who last I heard was at least head trainer at the NYWC school, will get the good word out with all of the exposure he's been getting lately.

Yeah but I still don't get the point. Cross promoting? Probably. The Hollywood guys, FSW and WCWC already share a few talents, but don't really promote their home companies. That'll probably change now, and hopefully give guys a chance to get booked further than a day's drive. And I'd love for a PA promotion to get involved in this, cuz I've been trying to convince some of my buddies in CWFH to try to get booked out here since I moved back. Hopefully this makes it easier.

This is good news for Metro Pro, they're a really good promotion that recently lost their local TV deal which meant they were probably going to close shop. But if they're partnering with this that is great news since it means they're probably going to stay alive for at least a little while.

Counter-point: Did this guy ever have the Conway Pop named after him? Counter-counter-point: At least we know Rob Conway is. Well, used to, at any rate. I dunno if the average WWE fan does remember him. Point is, I've watched Conway's matches in NJPW, and he's bleh-tastic. Solid enough, but so incredibly uninteresting to watch.

I guess the official site is now NWAringside.comalso: now I remember this lawsuit but totally didnt know how it came out. now I do, is Trobich still in the wrestling business and how is the NWA under Tharpe doing? Basically Bruce Tharpe and Chris Ronquillo are in charge. Both are basically fans of 80's NWA and 2013 NJPW. They are terrible business men and Tharpe actively involves himself in angles despite not having an ounce of ability. At an April super show the two owners appeared EIGHT times on the show. The most recent super show they did that featured 6 NJPW guys, Rob Conway, Michael Tarver and a bunch of good local talent and they only drew 400-500. Story lines are non existent, belts change for no reason or with no background behind it, all the great promotions have left the NWA except for Smoky Mountain and SAW. Tharpe is also responsible for putting the belt on The Great Muta wannabe that I posted a photo of above. Great Muta wannabe is currently the NWA North American Champion and defends against nobodies. Also, the closest NWA Territory to me is filled with backyarders and a couple of trained guys so promotions who have joined the NWA aren't really of quality either. Trobich did a much better job. Tharpe and Ronquillo are burying the NWA even more.
