I think it'll be a stand in but played like Bela Lugosi in Plan 9 and the lookalike will have his arm over his face the entire time with commentators playing it like he has to hold his arm like that for rehab So Darren Young in whiteface?

I have been wondering this myself. I am wondering if he'll just put over Del Rio then f*** off again.

I still think it's a possibility. It very well could be how Sandow gets the belt (which I'm still not against). I'd love to have Cena keep the WHC Title for a while though, even if they don't unite the big titles next year. It would help the prestige of World Title a lot just by having Cena carry it, and it gives him something good to do outside of the main event.

Didn't they announce that he will be on all remaining PPV's in 2013? He could work that schedule & take it easy on his elbow, or the heel conspiracy could be true & they are trying to really slow play that.

My theory is that Del Rio retains after reinjuring Cena and Sandow cashes in on Del Rio, pulling the trigger on a face turn. Didn't Sandow say he would cash in with honor?

I don't think Sandow is cashing in just yet. Part of me thinks that the titles may be unified before Sandow cashes in, and Sandow will use the briefcase on the unified champion down the line. I think that's a huge part of why the briefcase is chocolate instead of SmackDown blue.

Cena is going to be on a limited schedule, probably only working PPVs and the occasional big overseas event till he's 100% recovered.

If Cena will work a limited schedule I think he should get a long reign with the World Title, since no one cares about it anyway. WWE can let Cena be Super Cena without it pissing anyone off.

I don't see a unification happening before Mania, if at all.
They need that belt to help fill the card for Mania, considering it looks like they don't really have anything solid planned yet.

Even so, I think that Cena getting taken out in this scenario is bad idea. If Cena got injured by Del Rio and or cashed in on for the title, then he has to come back for revenge or a rematch. And if that happens, Cena has to win because he's Cena, so WWE will end up not booking the feud to protect both guys (read: Keep the belt on Del Rio/Sandow without making Cena "look weak). And if Cena returns and ignores the World Title picture because he has "more important matters to attend to" (I.e. Going after the Authority) it damages the title and the person holding it and fully solidifies it as the B-title. Cena pretty much has to win and keep the belt for awhile, unification or not.
