www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpbT-SQGZgUI didn't know this for the longest time (up until a few years ago), but The Hart Foundation had some kind of closure on WCW Thunder. Not exactly the way it should've ended, but hey - it was something?

Both of them looked bloated as hell during their WCW run so they just didn't really give a damn about being there.

there were just way too many guys in WCW at the time for them to really do anything of note.

quick questions about this time frame, one why didnt Vince just let Owen out too? Did he see more money potential in him I guess? And, why did Neidhart get the big DX beat down thing and no one else? Neidhart got the beatdown because Davey Boy was injured. He pulled a muscle during the Bret/Vince skirmish backstage apparently. So, it only left Anvil to take the brunt, since Vince wouldn't let Owen out of his contract.

I've heard that Vince and WWF did have one condition to releasing Davey Boy and Anvil. They could not be in a group with Bret Hart. Not sure if that's true, but that would at least explain why they weren't paired with Bret, which would have seemed like a no-brainer.
