If he were staying on tv then it'd be a heel turn perhaps. Since he'll be gone within a month most likely it's not a heel turn I'd assume.

Too much wishful thinking in this thread.

Shawn isn't going to be on regularly. He will be on tonight to "explain his actions" or something along those lines. Its far more likely the WWE writes this off as soon as possible to get Shawn off of TV. They are just going to prolong the DB chase as long as possible. By the time he actually wins and has a reign longer than 24 hours, everyone will be burnt out on it.

He didn't act like someone who turned heel. He superkicked Bryan, but looked frustrated at having to count the pin. He didn't have an evil grin on his face and he didn't smile at Triple H like it was a big plan or something. He didn't take glee in Orton winning.

So it was a typical weird WWE finish that's makes little sense.

I didn't see the show, but after reading a lot about it, it seems that Daniel Bryan tried to escape the cell like a coward, and HBK kicked him so he wouldn't get lose
