It'll probably get explained with Shawn saying he go a text in the middle of the match to stick Daniel Bryan.

He turned heel ages ago, but only on various animals in Texas' ecosystem The only thing missing on his trophy wall was a goat's head. Mission accomplished.

Yay, back to overemotional, conflicted Shawn Michaels! *sigh*
I am a big fanatic of Shawn Michaels work, but I can not stand when he has to act emotional because it comes across so hokey.

Being that Daniel Bryan is a Vegan and environmentally cautious, he and Bryan make for a natural feud...
Somehow though, Bryan will be the heel here because environment lovers and Vegans are terrible people.

So they'll go with the Taker/Bret finish explanation then? Essentially "whoops, I totally didn't mean to do that". That's what I got from it. Not that HBK purposely screwed Bryan. But that DID turn Shawn heel. He f***ed over a beloved babyface, regardless of intentions. I have a tough time believing we'll just get a "my bad" on RAW tonight and be expected to let the matter drop.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND MEEEE!" he's still a face. It wasn't screwing him over in a match, but still, similar situations in a way. I didn't see it as a heel turn, he got mad because Bryan knee'd his best bro in the face. Heel HBK would be fun though. I'm sure we'll get some nice melodrama out of it, either way.

I love that it's Shawns instinct to use his f***ing wrestling finish when his friend his hurt. To be fair it's also his go to move when talking to random people backstage too

Now you can appreciate it because he's really gonna be a heel for this feud.

I want HHH with Shawn in his corner vs Bryan with Bret Hart in his corner....just caus you could do a spot where HBK and Bret brawl at ringside during the match...I throw Bret in there caus he could show up to support Bryan easily.

Really enjoyed the segment. Didn't think they could turn Michaels heel in todays climate but the UNIVERSE loves DBry.
What is the end game with these 2 though?

My number one dream is that this angle gets Bryan's real mentor William Regal in the mix, so we can play out your scenario but with Regal instead of Bret, and potentially leading to a sort of resurgence for Regal similar to Goldust. There's nothing I want more than Regal getting the Goldust treatment.

I guess the 2 wellness violations makes WWE gunshy about him.

Not a heel turn. Just who he was.
HBK acknowledged that, as much as he loves Daniel Bryan's work and is proud of his achievements, he's always going to side with his friend.
But, dammit, he sure sold the Yes! Lock.

It was almost worth the stupid decision to not give Bryan the belt for HBK's promo last night, I thought it was great.

Well, it was my interpretation. I'd probably have to go back and listen to it several times to make sure that he was acting more heel-ish than I thought.

The people saying he didn't turn heel must have missed the part when he called Bryan a disrespectful little puke for not accepting his apology.
