ok yesterday i was listening to the MLW podcast and Cornette was on. i like Cornette and while i dont agree with everything he says i do enjoy listening to what he has to say. He starts to mention how Colt would work better in WWE than ROH where they cant present comedy when theyre supposed to be the serious wrestling show. He then buried Colt pretty much for a good 5 minutes. As a huge fan of both people mentioned i tweeted this at the time which was just me saying how awkward it was to listen to. I didnt say i agreed with Cornette or anything then when i get up this morning i get this now i dont no how to respond. Was i a dick for what i said? Do you think i shouldn't have commented on it. Should i have not tagged them (it auto tagged them when i typed their names btw) Also its worth noting i tag Colt all the time on twitter. I tag hime when i've enjoyed the AOW guest for that week, I Tagged him the other day saying how excited it was that he was on Stone Colds podcast. I Tagged him when i saw him wrestle, when i went to the live AOW podcast recording, when i posted the picture of him when i met him and when i drop money on his merch. He never responds to me any of those times just this time. Should i respond? Should I apologies? should i just ignore it?

Say 'Hi Colt Cabana how ya' doin'?' to try and break the ice.
Seriously I never would've expected Colt to say that if he hadn't had a bad day, he would've always struck me as a fairly cool guy, well I know now not to even mention him in any tweet I say.

Ignore it. I think Colt is very thin-skinned. You weren't knocking him at all.

I would just clarify that you weren't trying to mock him or stir the pot. If he still responds negatively, move on.

If you feel bad, apologize. If he don't accept it, f*** him.

For a guy who is meant to have a great sense of humour and be a great guy, Colt really seems to respond to criticism in a very immature fashion.

And hold grudges for a reeeeaaa---heheheeaaly long time. How long does he hold them for? Long enough to where people started calling him bitter for still bringing up getting fired from WWE.

Away from the tweet, how does Jim Cornette still remain relevant? All the guy does is bury people.

I don't think you did anything wrong. To be quite honest, I've always gotten the vibe from Colt that if you're not spending money on him, you're worthless to him at best. I can sort of understand it, what with making his living off getting people to shows and to buy merch from him, it just always makes his public persona real grating to me. Very well could be way off, and he could be the nicest guy no matter what, I just get the feeling he is CM Punk with better PR skills. In this case he wasn't getting free promotion for something so he went off.

Don't bother responding to it. It shouldn't be a big deal to you and it's par for the course for Colt.

I love Colt, and I love Jim Cornette. They are two of my favourite people in wrestling and it's weird. You know what they should do? Some sort of angle in either ROH or some other promotion together doing the feud of whether funny can draw money or not. Colt being the baby face and Jim being the heel manager to say, Adam Pearce or whoever. I think they could both cut some great promos on each other. On one hand, wrestling has changed and Colt is someone who draws right now. On the other, Cornette is right in wanting wrestling to be serious and not wanting to make a joke about it. But Colt can be serious too. But Jim wants everything to be taken serious all the time like other sports to add legitimacy. So it's quite the argument on both sides actually and he shouldn't be calling you a dick for it. Maybe it's because he still has sour feelings for Jim, which is sad.

I think it hit him wrong because maybe he thought you were 'advertising' something negative? I honestly don't know. I didn't see a thing wrong with your tweet and it's weird of Colt to DM you like that.
