Bookah loved all the 231 wrestlers in his top 5, Dawg. I do remember him being fond of "DAT SUPAHHERO, D-BRY!"

Bobby Heenan hated Hogan for about ten years. Loved Flair in WWF.

Piper always liked Bret Hart on he did spot commentary for PPVs.
Matt Striker liked all the midcarders that the IWC liked.

Mr. Perfect during his heel commentary run in early-late 1992 always put over Shawn Michaels. He even coined the nickname "Heartbreak Kid" for him.

I always remember Tazz hyping up Kurt Angle more than anyone, and always getting really hyped up about his matches. He still does this in TNA. Taz goofs off and calls the matches with zero conviction, but if it's Angle in there he steps his game up. This was evident during Angle's match with Bobby Roode at Bound For Glory, some of Taz's best work in a long time.

To me the Heenan/Hogan thing was the most beautifully done bit of continuity. Hell, from hearing Heenan talk, they liked eachother a lot, but Heenan hated Hogan no matter what. When Hogan turned heel, Heenan STILL hated him, though he did get in his "I TOLD you what he was" shots at everyone else, which was just classic Heenan.

No idea why this resonated with nine-year-old Chaz so much, but Vince McMahon's completely unwarranted disdain for The New Rockers always stuck out to me. He would drop the "OH WHATAMANEUVER" "1..2..HE'S GOT HIM!" enthusiasm and would just completely deadpan "these guys are dorks," "these guys are cornballs." They wouldn't even be involved in a feud or cheating in the ring, Vince would just follow up their promos with the reaction of a college sophomore having to listen to the pretentious kid ask a soapboxing-style question in class.

I remember Tazz used to mark something fierce for Matt Hardy V1 and René Dupree."I'M A FRENCH GUY I'M DOING THE FRENCH DANCE" Tazz used to be awesome. One of the more random ones was JBL just hating Chris Masters on SmackDown in 2007.

Has there ever been any newz about Austin's reaction to Rock's promo, or Rock's willingness to do it? They seem to have been on great terms after Austin's last match but that must have caused some friction. Not that I know of and I guess someone would have come up with something by now if there was. Rock has always been known as the guy who basically does as he's asked and doesn't try and fight it too much.

Not for nothin', Tazz also marked out for Brock Lesnar, heel rapper Cena (and B-Squared), Eddie Guerrero & Torrie Wilson...they were off the hook/chain!

Renee Young seems to have a thing for the pretty bad boys on NXT like Tyler Breeze and was marking out for Fandango when he cameo'd.

JBL always put Londrick over on commentary, even when he was a heel.

JBL hated Sylvan and Dress-wearing Vito as well along with The Miz. In fact I seem to remember him flipping out when Smackdown was in Quebec one week and Sylvan just got this ridiculous pop.
He also didn't really care for Jimmy Wang Yang, but he did admit that he was fun to watch. Something he said about Londrick as well.

Rock has always been known as the guy who basically does as he's asked and doesn't try and fight it too much. Austin WAS pissed. The now defunct RAW magazine featured a non kayfabe interview with Steve prior to his return to WWE in early 2003 and alongside criticising HHH for the potshot he took at him he, when they asked him about the Rock's promo, expressed disdain at being painted as someone who 'took his ball and went home' considering the mountain of issues he had leading up to that moment.
