I think, although we're not out of the woods yet, the tag division has improved. I'll admit I wasn't fond of the slow start, but my increasing liking of The Rhodes Dynasty has given me a lighter view. But I still think WWE needs a buddy/odd couple tag team, or an odd couple tag team. We had Team Hell No which started off great, but the jokes got overdone and they were essentially unstoppable, so their underdog appeal was lost. I'm talking about classics like Booker T & Goldust, Vladamir Kozlov & Santino (watch the tea party segment with Sheamus for justification), Edge & Christian, these guys were all hilarious and got over big time at some point in their runs. E & C weren't really an odd couple, but being hilarious pals made them great. I thought PTP could be like a black Edge & Christian, but they haven't been given the chance to do something like that. The serious [sometimes hilarious, too] heel team (Shield, Vitamin C, Nexus, Corre, Rhodes Scholars, etc.) compliments this odd couple team very well, and the feuds are generally great or hilarious. Before the whole Cody getting fired storyline, a comedy duo of Goldust and Cody Rhodes would be great, and they could still do some joking here and there, but with the amazing emotion in their victories, a comedy gimmick could tarnish their image. So, what do you guys think? Do we need a comedy/underdog/buddy team? Do we have one? Who should be in it? Go for it in the comments.
