you know one of the big issues I've had with heel champs defending against faces like NWA/WCW used to prefer was it was very hard for the heel to really get what was coming to him. Okay, sure Sting beats Ric Flair to end his title reign. Then a couple of months later Flair gets it back.
So what I think they should have done/could do it the future would b e is have the new face champ fight another face, claiming he'd defend the belt against anyone who deserved a shot, drop it in a close match, then the original heel could win it back
