Getting warm but there will be twists and turns, of course. At work but it's snowing  . Keep the songs coming in, everyone. I'll pm the remaining contestants later on today/tonight but I hope we can keep the pace up. |

I spoke with Tyger in a previous thread and he gave me his OK. Seeing as I did send in a song for this round, I will post what would've represented me after the conclusion of The Loneliest Number.

If you do waffel, remember to use spoiler tags and just include the link. Some contestants would rather not have possible songs and artists mentioned, while others would like to see what you came up with  . |

I hope everyone is doing well. The last few days here have been absolutely wretched due to the weather but it seems to be improving.
We have 13 out of 16 songs in for the One Word Title Round. It's imperative for the final three contestants to get their songs to me ASAP. I've pm'd them about it and, while it's understandable that there will be lags in the game, the sooner we get the songs the better.
I'm debating whether not to reveal the next Round soon, so I'm hoping that we get the songs in. It's fairly complex (evil laugh).
Edit and now we are at 14 out of 16.

 After being treated to an "All You Care to Eat" breakfast brunch by DJ Maestro Waffel, the twelve remaining Idol Contestants were spirited away to a private photo session.  Senor Tyger: (Showing the contestants the photo studio) As you can see, this private villa located deep in the heart of Tuscany is the ideal location for our photo shoot. Contestants, your contract with the Freakin' Awesome Network stipulates that a photo shoot is necessary for- Mr. B Natural, a question? Mr. B. Natural: Law/Disorder: (A hand shooting up straight in the air)... Mr. Tyger, as we discussed before this Season of FAN Idol started, I retain all artistic control in regards to my representation in print, video, and audio media. As you may recall from my contract- Senor Tyger: (Sigh) I remember. Nudity clause. You must appear as Nature intended for any photo shoot, live recording, and... audio session. You play music in the nude? Mr. B. Natural: Law/Disorder: I create music in the nude. (Mr. B. Natural shoots the other contestant a serious look and then sprints to a camera set up, baring all and posing majestically in the heroic fashion)  Mr. B. Natural: Law/Disorder: (Beaming) FAN, your Idol Appears! Members of the Press gather seemingly out of nowhere to take photos B. Natural's Naturalness, as well as several fairly dubious FANs with fake Members of the Press badges. The remaining fans were grouped into several tableauxs, all representing a single, rather enigmatic term, artistic may be the word for it, I would not know. The "Pause" set up depicted a white suited Jazzman wailing away on a blue saxophone, cheeks puffed out, eyes closed, a wave of intensity surrounding him, even as suavegentleman offered a green petaled rose to a delighted FAN attendant who was moments away from taking his arm and letting suavegentleman lead the first dance of the evening. Lodi "Wyatt" Rulz puffed away on a cigarette, smoke rings suspended in the air, the night growing dimmer and dimmer as he waits for his past to come back and haunt him. Jazzman winked for the camera as its flash illuminated the scene, catching Lodi breathing out a spiraling trail of smoke that embraced suavegentleman and his lady friend as they started a complicated step devised by the legendary Hanya Holm.  "Alright, alright, I'll do this but I'm not going to B. Natural It up. I'm a lady!" Roxie Daggers explained to Senor Tyger. Last Season's runner-up removed her leather biker gloves and looked for a place to stand for a bit and get this photo shoot over with. She noticed that a photo of SuperSweet laughing with a pre-Fandango Johnny Curtis, the later with a pitcher of milk and a whip in hand, hung on a far wall. "You know what Tyger, give me my gloves back. Too much skin for this place." The Host did as he was asked and Miss Daggers took her place among Majin Brad, dressed as a Meiji era Samurai, katana raised in the air and astride a horse as he faced of against Pegasus Warrior, posed upon his winged namesake, spear in hand, a suit of shining armor protecting his flanks. Pegasus Warrior listened to his I-Pod Nano, mind far away from this current bit of celebrity nonsense, even as Majin Brad challenged him to a fatal duel of honor. Roxie Daggers fed Brad's horse a carrot and stood underneath a sign that read "Battle". Tusk by Fleetwood Mac has been replaced by Evil by Interpol, as I missed Fleetwood Mac being used earlier. Thankfully, the contestant had the secondary pick. Not bad song choices Can we get a sneak peak at the next round's theme? The next Round's theme is:  Going SoloChoose 1 song that is attributed to one musician. Contestants are to choose a song attributed to one musician. Other individuals may be involved on the track but it cannot be attributed to a band, an orchestra, and so on. For example, The Frank Zappa song I used earlier has multiple people playing on it but it falls under Frank Zappa and not, as was often the case, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. There will be other elements to the Round but I will reveal them after Round 11 plays out. |

I know it's not listed, but I'm almost certain Strutter was used a few seasons ago. If I also remember correctly, Lodi was the one who used it.

Not on the list I had for last Season or the list given to Cage the Season before that, apparently, had all Six Seasons of songs on it. Contestant had no way of knowing this so, even if Strutter was used before, it's legal now. I can look through the songs Lodi has used in Past Seasons. |

Contestant was told to change their song. Was I right? You were. Wasn't on the list for some reason, despite the fact that the other Kiss song used that Season was. Like last Season, I personally don't care that much because the whole point is not to use the Past Season list as a crutch to pick songs that already did well. If the song isn't on the list in the first place and you don't know how it did in the past, then you can't cheat. It's just a coincidence. Still, to be consistent, I had the contestant change the song. |
