Six more days left and the sale is upon us. Questions;
Just how fast are these tickets sold off? Been saving up forever so my intent is to by two of the 850 dollar tickets. Do they go fast? Is Ticketmaster efficient considering just how many people will be vying for tickets? Does signs block the view a lot with floor seats? How much of an impact does the presale have on the main sale?

I don't think they've sold out the past few years, figure this year won't be an exception.
I'm probably going to have to wait for the start of December to get mine, but I'm hoping for one or two around $400 apiece or so.

If you haven't done it yet, I strongly, STRONGLY advise creating a Ticketmaster account before tickets go on sale. Doing so will store your billing and contact info so that when it comes time to buy tickets, you just plug in your email address and password instead of trying to enter everything in the very limited amount of time the site gives you.
The only time I've had a problem with Ticketmaster was when I tried to buy VIP tickets for Axxess. Servers were so flooded that they took the pages down for awhile.
There's no real way of knowing how fast tickets will go, but considering that this IS the big 3-0, that might play a role. All you can really do is be ready when the order page opens and hope for the best. Good luck!

What would you guys say the best balance of non-ridiculous ticket prices and still being able to see is? This will be my first Wrestlemania trip, and I hate to spend ridiculous amounts on tickets when I'm also booking airfare, a room, and tickets for HOF/Raw/etc.

I'd say if you are able to grab a seat in the lower bowl of the Superdome you should be fine. Might run you $150-$250 a ticket or something. But I would highly suggest getting the best bang for your buck. Spending an extra $50-$100/ticket might sound crazy or difficult but if you're traveling from far away try and make the most out of it if you can. It will be worth it in the end.

What would you suggest guys? Stay at in a French Quarter hotel or in a hotel really close to the Superdome like the Holiday Inn Superdome? I would like to be at the French Quarter since it's supposed to be the best zone, but I'm concerned about the transportation to the Superdome. Last year I had some trouble with the return to my hotel.

Last year I had some trouble with the return to my hotel. If you can afford it, I'd say stay in the French Quarter. You'll have loads of fun there, and you can walk up to Canal Street (a major throughfare that borders the Quarter) and catch a cab to the Dome -- it's not far. Go early before traffic backs up and it won't be too expensive. Walk a few blocks back toward the Quarter after the show and you can get out of the heavy traffic and catch a cab back. Great food to be found everywhere, especially around the Quarter. I'd also suggest looking into ROH, DragonGate and others who are putting on shows in the days leading up to it. Did that when I went to WM in Atlanta and it was a blast. Saw pre-WWE Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper, met Dutch Mantel (Zeb Coulter), etc.

Section 306, Row 12. For $140 not too shabby. Finally get to cross number 1 off my bucket list.

Anyone ever sat in the section behind the announcers? I've heard the view can be difficult on floorseats there and 850 is a lotta money.
