Everybody has to have at least a five minute video package before they come in, there was a pointless Bully Ray promo before his match and Ace's & Eights beatdown, matches have no context and the crowd is dead which is making above average matches look crap.

I watched it this afternoon, it was f***ing horrible. Just so bad. The commentary was amazing though, Taz and Tenay gave not one single f***. I thought it was hilarious too how on TV, Bully kicked Devon out of the Aces & 8s and then on this PPV Devon shows up to assist Bully in a beatdown. It was all so bizarre and scattershot.

GOD DAMN! You've already shown one video package for Aries, why do you have to show two of them?
EDIT: Okay, I'm two hours into this and about 45 minutes of it have been video packages.

I completely disagree with you guys. I didn't find the crowd as dead (maybe because I have seen far deader crowds) and the montages, while at times confusing because of bad editing, did give context to everyone who was in this tournament. Remember, a lot of these guys had rivalries that did need to be explored and stories were told in matches and were linked into other matches (ie James Storm's arm injury and Austin Aries arrogance).
To those confused by Devon helping Bully Ray or Mr. Anderson still with Aces & Eights, you have to remember that this show was taped in March. This to me was one of TNA's better shows of these One Night Only shows.
Oh and if you are mad about what you believe to be Taz and Tenay not giving a hoot, then you have clearly not watched the other shows as you would know this is them giving a care about what is going on.

And this is why taping these things ahead of time is pretty dumb.
This show has really dated itself with Aces & Eights actually being a threat here.

However, I agree on the thing with the pretaped shows. Some time ago I watched NXT and many WWE guys had totally different roles on the show than they had on RAW. It was confusing as hell.

I just love the fact that four of the matches didn't even have decisive finishes. Angle vs Aries & Joe vs Hardy & Joe vs Roode all ended via roll up or a flukish pin and Storm vs Bully Ray ended in a DQ via Aces $ 8's beatdown.
Like, what would be so wrong with having Joe beat Hardy via Muscle Buster or Coquida Clutch? Hardy looks stronger for having to be beaten by his opponents finisher and Joe doesn't have to win by a f***ing roll up.
