This week on NXT...
*Bayley & Charlotte vs. The Beautiful Fierce Females (Sasha Banks & Summer Rae) *Aiden English vs. Camacho *Mason Ryan vs. Danny Burch *TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS MATCH: Adrian Neville vs. Corey Graves
Sasha and Summer are trying to sway young sweet and innocent Bayley towards the dark side. Will NXT's resident hugger take the bait, or does Charlotte have something else in mind?
William Regal will be so happy, as Aiden English is about to take to the stage for another performance. His fellow actor this week is the returning Camacho - will he upstage English, or will the curtain be brought down on him?
It's a Battle of Britain on NXT this week, as the Welsh Wizard Mason Ryan takes on the London Football Hooligan Danny Burch. Burch hasn't registered a win on NXT yet, and I doubt he'll have much of a chance with the man mountain from the valleys.
Speaking of Britain, the main event features everyone's favourite wrestling Geordie looking for revenge. Adrian Neville was grounded by his former tag team partner Corey Graves three weeks ago, and was then attacked again after their match. This time, the winner will need to score two falls over their opponent, so can Graves beat Neville twice?

Here we go again with my NXT thoughts:
The best part of the show was the 2/3 falls match. It was a good match. Adrian Neville is great in the ring. He doesn't have a good look, which does matter in WWE. I can't help but think he'd be a good candidate for a mask, especially considering that Sin Cara has not cut it on the main roster. Corey Graves is pretty good in the ring. I can't help but comment on his belly button tattoo. I think it looks really bad.
Charlotte does not look very comfortable and natural. She's probably the NXT Diva that is the least ready for TV. You can see from her gymnastics tumbling that she is athletic, but she has a long way to go in terms of becoming a wrestler. As I said with Adrian Neville, looks matter in WWE. This is even more true for the Divas. Charlotte's look doesn't really fit with what WWE generally looks for in its Divas. I am all for legacy hires and I wish Charlotte the best.
Charlotte turned on Bailey. I guess NXT thought we needed another heel Diva with Bailey, Emma, and Paige all working as babyfaces. I felt this week's segment didn't really follow what was teased in last week's segment, where the BFFs were being insincere toward Bailey, pretending that they would let her join them. They didn't lead her along at all this week and they were surprised by Charlotte's actions.
There was no progression in Emma and Paige's storyline. We did see an Emma vignette where she puts over all of her Emma-puns. I'm definitely an Emmacrat, but I didn't think the vignette was that good from a production quality standpoint.
Mason Ryan is huge, but he doesn't have much personality, nor does he show much ability in the ring. I think he is miscast right now. He should be a serious heel who doesn't smile. Also, I think he should cut his hair. Gee, I'm really commenting on people's appearances this week, aren't I?
I know he has his fans, but I just don't see anything in Aiden English. However, I'm willing to put up with him as long as William Regal is at the commentary booth. I really enjoyed Regal fawning over him.
Another legacy hire on this show was Camacho. I thought his dad, Haku aka Meng was a great performer. I haven't seen enough of Camacho to make much of a judgment. He's yet another performer who is pretending to be Mexican. Arguably, WWE is presenting the Colons as Mexicans right now with Los Matadores, though I suppose they could be Spanish.
All in all, this was not a very good episode outside of the main event.

Apart from the weird hobbit/elf ears, Neville really isn't a bad looking dude. He has a great body that women and gay/bi guys like myself would cream their pants over. I think Neville's look issues can be solved with a simple haircut. I think that being a legacy hire might compel WWE to give her a pass in the looks department. The long hair is pretty bad. But at the same time, it's the only thing keeping Mason from looking like a Batista clone. I don't see much of him either, but he would make a great lower midcard act. Someone that you wouldn't really have to push because his gimmick could keep him over.

- Great divas match ended with a random heel turn - LOL at Camacho, he is as popular as Alberto Del Rio thank god English won the match - Bulgarian people speak Bulgarian language - Mason still sucks - I like Emma, but that vignette was pretty lame - Adrian Neville carried the main event & won. CM Punk-lite should start learning new moves because his 20 minutes submission locks are boring. Bo Dallas return next week *insert sarcastic yay here*

I think Neville's look issues can be solved with a simple haircut. He definitely has a good build. I wasn't really referring to his build. I think the long hair looks bad, especially with his very high hairline. And yes, he has big ears that stick out. I hate bringing up his physical appearance, but realistically we are talking about potential WWE superstars and it's naive to think that looks and size don't matter to WWE. Neville is short and doesn't have the best look (not referring to his build). He's one of the best in-ring performers in the company.

Not nearly enough Bayley in that Divas match. Fact!
Charlotte- I've said this before and I'll say it again, I believe Ric Flair refused to teach his kids how to wrestle properly out of fear of them taking his spot.

Despite it not getting much heat, the Neville/Graves 2/3 falls match was pretty good and featured some good selling by Neville. Would have preferred him to tap right away to Lucky 13, but I understand the pride he has as a babyface to try and not succumb to it, even though it may cost him later in the match.
Rest of the show was pretty iffy, though again I don't get why Charlotte goes after the two heels only to join them later. I'd have let Bayley do the whole match and then get turned on. I like the idea of a six Diva elimination tag down the line, which could also be used to further Paige and Emma's problems.

I'm surprised people haven't started referring to him as BOREY GRAVES yet.
Didn't even realise that was Tensai on commentary at first! Was a nice change (albeit peculiar) but he seemed pretty incoherent (not on Lawler levels) and struggled to get a word in, but he improved towards the end. Up for giving him another chance. Maybe they're just trying out undercard guys for future announce positions. Byron Saxton did a good job as well, and Regal...well, he's always great. After today's show, he SHOULD be the successor to Bobby Heenan in that he'd make a tremendous heel manager, while at the same time taking his seat at the commentary table.
Opening match ~SWERVE was pretty cool. What made it priceless was that Regal call: 'Oooh, the rotten cow!' Looks like Charlotte will be the 'muscle' of the group, and could lead to a six-woman tag (Paige, Bayley and Emma vs. BFFs) in the future. Bayley is adopting that Mankind character circa late-1998 (naive and happy-go-lucky).. Some great booking, because they all have a purpose and gets people interested in their individual personalities. WWE could learn so much from this.
Aiden English could have a really good feud with a brawler, he just has that obnoxious personality where you'd like to see him get twatted. Good to see Camacho back, but was just another squash. Regal's gushing.
Rusev promo. Guy is just a scary beast. Reminiscent of The Iron Sheik in his early days.
Good to see Danny Burch take time out from the Football Factory to get squashed by muscle headed lumps. ''Ave that son!' I like the look of Burch. This is the character they should have given to Barrett when he returned last year. In fact, Barrett and Burch has a nice ring to it. Hmmmmmm...... Ryan still looks awkward in his 'psyched up' poses. Guy needs an actual character.
Neville is just a joy to watch. Jacked up enough to be taken seriously, but small enough to be manhandled by nearly everybody he faces. The tough-guy rebel gimmick really does NOT suit Corey Graves. Not much wrong with his offence though as he intended to ground the high flyer by concentrating on the leg. Neville plays the FIP really well, crowd were forever behind this guy. Finish was a bit anticlimactic but a pretty decent match for what it was.

It still throws me off when they refer to Corey Graves as a "submission expert." He was a lot of things in the Indies, but "submissions expert" wasn't one of them.

The Emma promo vid seemed more like something to debut her on WWE TV and not NXT, kinda odd.

How dare you all besmirch the great artist, Aiden English!!!
I was mad at Hulu when it kept buffering during his entrance, screwing up my singing along with it.

By the way, that was a nasty bump Adrian Neville took when his knee gave out.

I thought the end of the 2/3 falls match with Neville refusing to tap and getting to the ropes was really good. I'm not a big fan but that moment definitely had me behind him. I thought they'd pull the "pass out from the pain" cop-out finish but they went for it with him getting out of the hold and winning the match. I guess that means the feud is over?
Other than the main event, the show didn't do much. Charlotte's heel turn was a good surprise but I can't help but think she'll water down the chemistry between Sasha Banks and Summer Rae, which has been pretty good.

Yeah Charlotte is awful. No interest in her whatsoever, not even looks wise.
Adored the Aiden English bit, and Regal was just superb. Hilarious but still perfectly in character. Great moment, and the NXT Crowd, as always, just "getting it".
Question - are the roses thrown in by the audience or by someone in the company?

Not getting the Charlotte dislike. She was hardly in the match and what she did do I thought was pretty good. The three go pretty well together visually.
Sasha Banks is looking FLY. She's been really good in the ring since getting to NXT and now she's finally getting the personality down.
