Would they have stayed with the WWF? Or would they have joined the ECW/WCW Alliance with their well known history in both companies? How far up in the group (that they chose) would they have been? Would they have been involved in the Survivor Series Winner Take All match? Or would they been put in one of the undercard matches at the Invasion/Summerslam/Survivor Series PPVs?
Benoit was out during the Invasion angle due to a neck injury, in which he missed a year after the King of the Ring triple threat match with Austin and Jericho. Guerrero was in rehab addiction to pain medication stemming from his 1999 car accident and in May 2001 was sent to rehab.

I'd say they'd be in the Alliance giving it a lot more star power. They'd be right below Austin.

I could easily see Benoit joining the alliance. Not too sure about Eddie.

Both WCW. At that point, they were still mainly identified with that company.

The Radicalz jumping to the Alliance could have been good. Much like Hogan in 1996, I don't think people would have been bothered that they had already been there over a year, perhaps just saying that they were sent there by WCW to look for weak points to exploit, therefore making an invasion more structured.
Then again, you'd have to write out the whole "this is Shane and Steph doing this to take over Vince's company" shit. Seriously, I can't believe THAT is what the entire Invasion became. Just more McMahon drama.
