Did Sheamus ever get any heat for legit crippling Noble after that? Or did they simply rule it as an accident? Does Noble seem bitter by it? I haven't heard a whole lot of NEWZ about it.

He didn't get heat because it was only a storyline injury to write out Noble.
EDIT: Looked up Wiki to find out more info... It says there was a legit injury, but it wasn't bad enough to cripple him. So I'm not sure.

He didn't get heat because it was only a storyline injury to write out Noble. so they marked a smark... figures. I'd simply heard that Noble was accidentally injured during one of the sequences, and Sheamus didn't know it, and further exacerbated it with the powerbomb on the outside.

That has to be the best squash match ever. Totally. Noble's selling really made it for me, the way he was whimpering and twitching. Really put Sheamus over as a monster.

Squash matches make me less interested in a wrestler. The more decisive a squash, the less I care. Sheamus had one of the most decisive squashes in wrestling history. It made me almost stop caring about him at all (and I really liked him on ECW, especially his work with Goldust).
I hope squashes are a thing of the past. They don't really make a wrestler look dominant (to me at least), because I know going in that no wrestler is ever going to squash main eventers no matter how he's built, or how good he's supposed to be, so it just comes off as a ham-fisted way to make me care.

Still waiting for Noble to make his triumphant return by attacking Sheamus.
