Am i the only one thinking that Sheamus could return as a heel? I wouldnt mind Sheamus giving random brogue kicks to the babyface roster. He could even play up how ignored he was while he was out.

He probably should, as a face he could get lost in the shuffle a lot easier. WWE's short on legit threat heels right now.

I hope so. "Tough main event babyface returns and wrestles in the next 4-6 title matches" is boring as f***.

Yeah, I've been hoping he returns as part of the Authority.

Isn't he coming back in like two months or so? That seems like just enough time for the rest of Orton's reign to peter out before he gets replaced as The Authority's champ. I think it would be easy for a monster heel Sheamus to look like a greater challenge for whatever face finally undoes Orton.

He should be the Authority's chosen "Face of the WWE", which would make for a perfect storyline if Daniel Bryan is chasing the WWE Title come WM XXX.

Daniel Bryan wininng the title from Sheamus, would be a lot more interesting than him wrestling Shawn Michaels. I love the idea of a heel Sheamus who Bro kicks anyone Heel or face and just takes delight in knowing he can hurt them. It would be great to see him Fued with Ryback now as a face who now does stands up to bullies.

I want him to come back as a mean no-allegiance having SOB. He kicks the crap out of both faces and heels and does so without remorse. He needs to go back to being the badass that he was when he debuted, not the crappy joke cracking smiling facey face that he became.

I'm not sure if he will. They seemed to be really determined to make him the #2 face behind Cena because of how popular he started getting with kids. And he was basically the face of their Be A Star campaign like John Cena is with Make-A-Wish. I thought he was fine as a face this year, but he was starting to get inconsistent reactions close to Cena's the last months before he was injured. I'd be fine with him joining The Authority, as winning the belt off him at Wrestlemania instead of Orton would be a perfect cap to the angle with Bryan.

I don't think he should be part of The Authority at all, I think he should just be an asshole. Seriously. Book him the exact same way, but as a heel instead. A smiling, fella-spouting, asskicking bully who fights dirty and cheapshots people, despite being such a huge badass that he doesn't need to. Basically like an Irish heel 'respect' Bikertaker. Get him to brogue kick smaller talents' heads off, and keep doing that. Have him murder everyone, until some hot returning babyface (shit, maybe even a returning Mark Henry with Henry in the babyface role) feud with him and you've got something that'd work pretty well I reckon.

If Sheamus were the new Big Evil, I'd love it if he had his own "Jeff Hardy". Some plucky underdog who is nowhere near being pushed to main event status, but gets to put on a series of good matches against Sheamus and look good despite losing repeatedly.

And we can make him Alex Riley! And he could win the IC title, and have a 3-way feud with Ryder and Miz! And the blow off would be them all getting naked!

That snarky jab at my fandom/my gay crushes was random and unnecessary. But yes Alex Riley would be a good choice. I do remember a few squash matches that Sheamus had against Riley wayyy back in FCW and they were pretty damn good. Riley is a big dude in his own right, but it's amazing how good he plays a "little man" role against people who dwarf him like Sheamus. And no I was not only thinking about Alex Riley. Other good choices would be Zack Ryder (yeah I know I love him too, but still), Lettle Evan Barn, and Tyson Kidd.

Riley wouldn't be a bad choice if he ever shows up on the main roster again. And it would be a great way to push anyone, especially a cruiserweight because Sheamus is so great with them.
