I said this in the RAW thread just after the end, but I want to see what others feel on this.
Speaking for myself, I feel that being "out of sight, out of mind" with Triple H and Stephanie right now is probably the best thing for Bryan. I feel that The Authority angle at this point in time, and by extension the WWE Championship scene, has become cluttered with too many authority figures, mixed messages in terms of heel/face alignment and a general disinterest in many, if not all, parties involved.
Meanwhile, that "B+ midcarder" Bryan is tearing it up with Punk/Shield/Rhodes Brothers/Usos/Wyatt Family in white-hot, high quality main event matches, and is as crazy over as ever (the YES! chants are often imitated but are NEVER duplicated to Bryan's extent).
Now, I know what many are thinking... "Bryan never got his revenge on Triple H" and all that. I already did a huge monologue on the subject, so you know how I feel about that already. I feel that keeping them separate for a little bit keeps it just a bit fresher should Bryan get back to feuding with The Authority in the leadup to WrestleMania. He can EASILY slot back into getting his revenge via winning the Rumble, which he is still one of the favourites for DESPITE all the worry. Yes, you can't recapture the magic of a first time major championship win, but if Bryan keeps this up and things fall in line just so, it'll feel just as good when he does win it again.
I'm off the soapbox. Anyone want it?

As of now, the Authority got slightly demoted, the Wyatts got slightly promoted. That's really all there is to it.

It's not a good thing. Theoretically, you should want him to be on the main event and overcoming the crap they put up against him. It's bad storytelling.
Pragmatically, however, since the main event is a black hole that sort of sucks all popularity and momentum to within it and keeps it there, forever preserving all threats to HHH's ego in an immobile vacuum, then and shouldn't exist, but since they do...

As far as I'm concerned, nearly every higher card story, with the sole exception of John Cena and Del Rio, is in some way embroiled with The Authority. I like this.

YES.
That Authority storyline has the Midas touch in reverse. Everything it touches turns to shit.
As overbooked as it may be, this Punk/Bryan/Usos/Rhodes/Wyatts/Shield/Real Americans/Mysterio thing is already miles ahead of the 'main' storyline. Please keep HHH/Steph/Kane far far far far far away from this.

I'm not even sure what they're doing with the WWE title right now it's like they keep changing directions on what they want to do, so it's definitely for the best for most everyone to stay away right now.

As of now, the Authority got slightly demoted, the Wyatts got slightly promoted. That's really all there is to it. Three straight shows now have ended with Team Internet Workrate vs. The Wyatts instead of the WWE Title angle.

For someone who doesn't have the "look" to be the "face of the WWE" . D-Bry sure is main eventing and being showcased a lot more than The Face Randy Orton.

I said this when the Wyatts attacked him and everyone screamed that he was being demoted. I always saw it as a protection move for Bryan. He was getting screwed over by the Authority and Orton on what was three PPVs in a row, did we really want to see it for a fourth time? Had he spent any longer in that feud I have no doubts that he would have been damaged as a main event performer. I'm just glad he got to bury his knee in Trips' face before moving on.

I peresonally think that Bryan should still be involved in the Authority Angle, although he should not be chasing the title. Someone else should've screwed him out of the belt so that Bryan could be transitioned to a program with that person.
