It's kind of what I thought...i.e. Vince being butthurt about Randy showing up in WCW, basically (and moreso since he never came back to Stepford, er, Stamford). Which would probably bother him more than "abusing" his daughter.

Randy and Heenan are, I think, 2 of the only people who jumped to WCW who got any sort of send-off. Meanwhile, Hogan and Mean Gene got nothing.

He's done an interview before where he's basically said he wouldn't 'agree' to it unless him and his dad were also inducted because "That's what Randy would have wanted". I'm not convinced.

It probably wasn't so much Macho going to WCW, since they weren't going to use him beyond commentary, but Macho taking Slim Jim (and the money that went with it) with him.

Did you ever see one of the videos where he states this, then goes on rants about Sarah Jessica Parker and President Obama?

I'd be more interested if he talked about the Randy Savage/Stephanie McMahon Relationship.

I'd be more interested if he talked about the Randy Savage/Stephanie McMahon Relationship. In a Kayfabe Commentaries interview he says the only one that can answer that is Randy. They say it as much in the video. Randy was hurt that the WWF felt he was too old to wrestle anymore so they had no problem with him going to WCW, BUT as soon as Macho got that endorsement deal they had an issue. Supposedly Macho was also really upset by the Nacho Man skits especially one that implied Liz had an affair with Hogan.

now it all makes sense. Randy Savaga slept with Stephanie, not Randy Savage. honest mistake.

Common misconception: Savage did NOT take the Slim Jim sponsorship with him. It remained with the WWF, and he was replaced by others. It wasn't until later that SJ either pulled out of or didn't renew a contract with them, and instead invited Savage back.

That said, my personal theory? Savage left on good terms. It was only much later that their relationship soured, and it WAS over the Slim Jim thing, just not when or the way most people think. They were cool until SJ jumped ship back to Savage. At that point, McMahon was no longer okay with it. Working for the rival, Vince understands. It's wrestling. But by taking the SJ endorsement Savage became a different sort of rival; the boardroom/Wall Street kind.

Randy Savage made WCW put Angelo Poffo in the their HOF (which Gordon Solie quit the company over) and he also made them give Lanny a job (which Randy also did in WWF). Except WCW didn't use Lanny at all.
I totally believe Lanny when he says Randy wanted the whole family in the HOF. Randy was always about family. Lanny told a story about Savage being pissed he didn't get Vince to put Angelo in a Legends Battle Royale in 1987 (won by Lou Thesz) and he felt like he let his father down.

If Slim Jim wanted to Put Randy in the Slim Jim Hall of Fame, do you think Lanny would demand that all of the Poffo's go in as well?

He's since said he basically doesn't care anymore and if they want to put Savage in, they can but don't put him in under the idea they have Lannys blessing.

I believe Lanny's story too. I know it is tempting to paint Lanny as someone trying to ride his brother's coat tails, but Lanny is a self-aware guy who harbors no delusions of grandeur about his importance in wrestling (unlike some members of a certain Western Canadian wrestling family who were not named Stu, Bret, and. Owen). He knows that big brother Randy is the superstar of the Poffo clan and because of that, Randy's wishes should be honored.
