Look at the MNF competition- New Orleans/Seattle (8-3/9-2 vs. 10-1 at Seattle's raucous House of Pain and the 12th man) and Dallas/Chicago (two glamorous franchises).
If they do their Slammys show after that (BAL/DET and ATL/SF the MNF games), that might not be good enough.

The NFL is the biggest and most profitable sport in America by a wide margin, and it's only gotten bigger since Attitude. If one of their headline games clobbers Raw in the ratings, how is it WWE's fault?

Could be why they appear to be starting up the celebrity guest host crap again.

The obvious answer is a sports themed show with childish segments clumsily mocking the NFL and announcers spouting forced lines about how Raw is where the real action is.

Diva powder puff football = ratings bonanza. Possibly due to Cheerleader Vince.

One month of potentially bad ratings isn't going to hurt them too badly. Unless USA decided to low-ball Vince in the next TV contract negotiations.

They're already pulling out all the stops. They had FLORIDA-GEORGIA LINE perform last night. What more do you people want?

I assume all shows in that time slot in this time of year take a ratings hit. I don't think there's anything you can do about it.

If anything, in my case I hope they put on a lousy product.
No way in hell am I going to miss those games, no matter how good Raw is.
