Okay, just curious about this. Everyone had high hopes following Summerslam. It looked like we were about to see Daniel Bryan in a major program for the WWE Championship, but then we were swerved. Instead, he was gradually downgraded and all the attention fell onto Big Show. A lot of people were upset around these parts and a good chunk of you didn't hesitate to say that WWE once again failed. Basically, there was a lot of negativity.
But flash forward to today, and it seems like things have calmed down. While far from perfect, it seems like most of you are somewhat content with the current product. Am I missing something, or have things rebounded from a month ago?

It's not really that different from the usual, but having a good RAW helps keep spirits up.

Curtis Axel is not the Intercontinental Champion anymore. Big E Langston is. 100% improvement right there.

Better because Daniel Bryan is away from the HHH/Orton/Big Show nonsense.
Worse because that is the WWE title picture & John Cena/Alberto Del Rio is the world title picture.

Call me a curmudgeon but last night's Raw completely destroyed me. I've been defending the Authority/Daniel Bryan angle to the death and I still think things will come around and Daniel Bryan will be the man again come Wrestlemania, but you're only as good as your last show and Raw last night was embarrassing and Survivor Series looks terrible.
So my answer is no, but WWE is so damn flip floppy right now it could turn a complete 180 next week for a short while again, I don't know.

RAW the night after HIAC was the best episode I've seen in years, so there's that.

The WWE Title match at SS is Randy Orton vs. Big Show.
.......I don't see how that could be an improvement over anything, really.

It's calmed down because for whatever reason they have been downplaying the Orton/Big Show/HHH/Steph deal lately. I suspect it will be back with a vengeance before long though.

Every single episode of WWE television doesn't end with Orton or Shield standing over a fallen D-Bry anymore. So there's that.

I would say so. What made previous shows painful was Bryan getting beat down almost every week in the main storyline and not getting much payback on it. At least with the main event being Big Show and Orton now instead I can just completely ignore it, it basically doesn't exist to me. For all I know Vacant still has the belt. I've been enjoying The Meta Powers vs The Wyatts so much more then I did Bryans title feud. Even outside of Bryan, 3MB are finally doing something again, the tag scene is still obscenely good, Big E f***ing Langston is the new Intercontinental champ, Miz finally turned heel, Cena is putting on some of the better matches in recent memory against midcard guys whilst adding new moves to his set and The Wyatts and The Shield look to explode on each other after or during Survivor Series. There's very little to really complain about outside of the title feud.

I was enjoying WWE a month ago and am enjoying it now.
I thought last night's Raw was very entertaining and the main event match was the best in memory.
I like the revival of the tag division and Cena lending more credibility to the World belt and I am really enjoying the Wyatts and their evolution. And AJ is the most over and best Diva character in quite some time.
Randy Orton is never going to excite me, but he's fine in the current role as the Authority figurehead -- especially with his insecurities showing this past week.

I just like the fact that we have an actual tag team that has always been a tag team that would look pretty weird if they weren't a tag team far enough up the card to co-main event.

No, I think it's continuing to get slowly worse.
We're about to have our 4th bad PPV in a row too.

yes, but only because it's easier to compartmentalize and ignore the terrible WWE title feud if it isn't involving anyone we actually care about.

I can't really speak on if it is or not, since I haven't even been checking results (well, outside of threads bringing up specific things here), but I'm hoping so. Kind of wanting to start watching again the night after Survivor Series and I'm hoping things are way better than they were when I stopped after Hell in a Cell.

The fact that we haven't had a clustermuck of so-and-so being buried or messed up threads on here screams "YES!".
Besides, as already mentioned they turned Miz heel when his face run faltered, put the IC Title on Big E who seems like they're giving a push, given 3MB a new fun gimmick of changing their name and style every week, have done a good job with making AJ a credible Divas Champion even if some don't like her, and Daniel Bryan with CM Punk have been in the main event of RAW. Heck, they even advanced the main event angle well by showing dissension between The Authority and both Randy Orton and The Shield.
Regardless of how people think Survivor Series is going to go down; there are plenty of reasons to enjoy WWE right now.
