As I started predicting months ago, Orton is now with the Shield despite them beating him up repeatedly. Although, thankfully not as the leader as I thought he might, they still do revolve around him in this angle so I say that counts seeing as how random that ended up being. Now we have Goldust and Cody and some others opposing them. The next part of my prediction was that Cody would be next. I'd rather not give the details as to why (the main original reason!) until later if and when the whole thing closes. If you want to know badly enough PM me. It really isn't important at this time and it's kind of stupid haha, so yeah... Anyway, right now I see Cody being turned on by Goldust at some point before WM, possibly this Sunday. I can guess that because we already know they'd like to have a match against each other at WM, as they've mentioned it before so this is what I'm thinking is going to happen. Plus Goldie is in top form right now so why not? Another reason is because Cody was once with Orton in a faction and much like Kane he'd be reluctantly joining the Authority, but he'd also be rejoining his former Legacy partner (and abuser but since when did things like that get in the way?).
One part I don't think is going to happen any more is the PTP won't be joining. The Authority didn't exist at the time but I just had a vague idea of a heel stable being formed, not that they'd be an "in charge" kind of stable as I thought. Anyway, unless on the odd chance that Titus turns on Darren. Then at least one of them will have joined. Had it not been for Darren coming out and they both stayed heel I could see it happening but I was unsure how it would have played out. Since it's obviously not happening I'm not going to bother with that now. I'm kind of tired right now so I'm not coming up with how this would lead Titus to The Authority except maybe a vague "It's what's best for business" kind of way. Sure, a split would help both of them as singles, but would hurt the tag division. Being unsure of how much is planned for the tag division as far as how many teams or what kind of prominence they will have in the near future I can't say too much. I'm hoping they start bringing in more NXT big names like Neville, (already brought up with Truth) Xavier, Leo Kruger, Graves, Zayne, I was hoping for Ohno, people like that. Moving on...
Another possible turn I see is Big Show. I was his bullying as sort of "training" to mold him into the monster Steph wanted him to be and after he finally broke he'd join. Another thing I thought maybe was like Mark Henry's "farewell" promo, it's been a ruse all along and he was never an enemy to begin with. I also had hopes that maybe Corey Graves would show up somewhere and join the Shield but seeing as he's still green I don't see it any more. Besides the fact that they are established enough now as a trio and I don't see any more members. If they were to split off I could see it, but it's not as clear as it once could have been as a good thing.
That's all I can muster for now. Anyone else have ideas?
Sorry for the late night buzzed out rambling that probably makes no sense whatsoever plus the horrible grammar and sentence structure, even for me so I'm probably going to regret posting this tomorrow, haha! Hopefully the idea's still understandable enough. If I have more to add or I forgot some I'll probably add later, I just feel like I've forgotten stuff.
