Cena's likely in the WWE for a while still. He's got no wife, no kids. The WWE's his whole life. What's he going to do if he were to retire?

I'm just going to predict.... he will be 37 in April, so I'm going to say..... John Cena will retire from wrestling full time at the age of 41 - in 2018. He will do Mania matches until he is 45 (2022), and then become Raw GM around that time. After that, he will get a Legends deal and also be a talent scout, basically taking the Johnny Ace spot. He will enter the WWE Hall of Fame in 2024 at the age of 57, at Wrestlemania XXXX. He will wrestle his last match ever in 2034, at the age of 67, at Wrestlemania 50. It will be against Ric Flair. .... With Bret Hart as special ref and Hulk Hogan in Cena's corner and HHH in Flair's the match ends when all the participants become evolved in a brawl the final scene of Mania is all 5 men charging one another black out before they collide WWE Entertainment Then Now Forever

When I put my cursor over the thread's title before opening it, it said "no preview available." And I thought, "That sounds about right...."

He'll be part-timing in the next three years if he's got a brain. In my fantasy booking world, I'd make him the GM of both brands who only occasionally gets in the ring.

Never especially since I wouldn't be surprised if Vince is trying to clone him.

He's built like a brick shithouse, he has a juvenile sense of humour, he doesn't care about being inconsistent (which fits well with the mentality of WWE creative) and he's easily marketable, with a seemingly neverending line of crap merchandise.
He's Vince's dream man, and yes I also mean that in a sexual sense.

About wrestlers' ages.
In 1993, they made a big deal about Bob Backlund's comeback because of his age. He was 43. Today, I don't think anybody would bat an eye at a 43-year old wrestling.
Has the business simultaneously gotten younger AND older? Guys reach the bigs younger and can last longer?

Cena will be carried out of a WWE ring. I hate to say it, but even the most superhuman of bodies has to break down eventually. I refuse to believe anyone can take the short amount of time out that he did for his elbow, and then wrestle in a TLC match in December and things are just fine. Its gonna catch up to him.

I still say Cena is gonna get Austin'd/Edge'd and will be forced to retire in the next five years.

Over ten years ago.

I'm not a Cena fan at all, but man oh man will it be sad day when he finally hangs them up.
